Around 3 decades ago whilst on a business trip in Egypt I watched from a distance how 2 motorbike riders powered through the desert on large touring bikes, from that day onward I dreamed one day I would own a adventure bike and start my own touring. In 2022 I purchased my dream bike the GSA 1250 and have I started my touring adventures.
Yes they are all owned by the riders however check out this group they rent all brand new 1300's i met them whilst in Hokkaido www.mototoursjapan.com/ja.html
Great video Arch, there’s something very special about rising early ahead of everyone else. Beautiful scenery and great close up riding shots/lean angles!
Absolutely amazing views in Gunma! My first time to see it so thanks! If I'm not mistaken, our former colleague YT is from there originally. Thanks for the ride mate!
Yeah I completely agree every time I go up there am I bamboozled of how amazing it is such a beautiful prefecture and you may be correct I think he is from there
I've never stopped by Tsuruga Castle, so I wanted to go out. You're going out to more places than me. It seems that Mr. arch was also in Hokkaido touring, and I'm looking forward to that episode. By the way, will you participate in the SSTR? I entered on 10/5.
Hello Kenichi san, this message brings me so much joy to read "thank you" I have never heard of the SSTR and tried to read it on the website but it is difficult to understand for me how it will work......my Japanese is too little maybe to participate ?
@@archjapanmotovlogs It seems there isn't an English site available. I apologize for the inconvenience in introducing it so easily. Is it the content of the event or the registration process that is difficult to understand? I may not be very good at English, so I might not explain it well, but I'll try to give a brief introduction. Message from the Organizer, Shinji Kazama: A Unique Crown for Touring Riders --- The appeal of the SSTR (Sunset Sunrise Touring Rally) is that it is not an event where participants compete against each other. Starting at sunrise from the eastern coast, participants traverse the Japanese archipelago, chasing the sun and aiming to reach the goal at Chirihama Nagisa Driveway in Ishikawa Prefecture by sunset. Under these simple and clear rules, each participating rider weaves their own adventure drama, striving for their own horizon-this is the essence of SSTR. The goal gate set up on the golden sandy beach is truly a crown bestowed upon touring riders who have overcome various difficulties and completed their grand journey. It is a unique door that allows each rider to conclude their one-of-a-kind adventure. -- You might need someone who understands Japanese to help you with the registration process. It's a popular event, so the available slots are filling up quickly.
Wow you explained it perfectly for me now 🙏🙏now I understand completely it looks like also gather stamps at michinoeki as well, I will check of somebody can help me further understand I really appreciate it 👍
It was so soothing to watch the nature pass by on the screen. It's almost like being there. Thanks for the time spent making yet another great video to watch!
When you’re in a long touring it sometimes happens that you get rained on, but it can turn part of pleasure that you recall later. Good to be on the two wheels. Keep enjoying!
I met this Rally rider at a roadside station near Lake Kucharo in Hokkaido. I'll be late if you need a still picture of the bear I just met on the Kemonomai forest road. It had great fur and muscles.
Hello Ryoji san, thank you for talking to me and sharing your bear interaction. Can you please send me an email to arch67.online@gmail.com I want to add your bear video to my youtube channel please 🙏👍
You're getting closer to Hokkaido.I hope I can see you when you get here.I'm in Honbetsu, 1hour north of Obihiro.I recommend Akan~ Mashu national forest.Sulfur mountain and Daisetsu national forest Route 39 from Asahikawa to Kitami and a few more nice rides. Free stay for you and wife on our Organic farm in off grid shelters.

So you enjoyed visiting places in Aomori, nice dining, and riding, which is good. Yes, there are some important factors in making good videos including selection of BGM, effects, applying proper transitions, etc. All these are nicely worked out here. Congrats on another nice vid👍👏
Hey Chani, its lovely to hear from you on my channel and thanks for watching this, he actually waved back when I honked the horn at him hahaha......just an FYI really interested in your courses your prepping its time Chani its time i need to sort my japanese out 🙏👍
Nice video Arch, beautiful views of the lake… Shame about the corrupted GoPro files - I share your frustration (it’s always the best views etc. that disappear).
So it’s good that you guys enjoyed the best of Aomori in this touring. As you may know they have a dialect named Tsugaru-ben. Tsugaru is a different/old name of Aomori/Hirosaki area. Ben is a dialect. It is very different from the Japanese that Tokyo people speak and sounds like a foreign language. But I like the sound and the rhythm of Tsugaru-ben.
Hi Arch ! Over time since watching your earlier videos and getting hooked on, I've noticed the quality of content and editing skills have become high quality stuff. You are also probably a rare Vloger in English, from Japan on the GS - Kudos and keep em' coming. Arigato !
Hello Naveen I am pinning your comment to the top of my video here, I am grateful for the support and one of the kindest comments I have recieved so far.....this is motivating I very much appreciate it 🙏🙏
