Is the Connectet Cradle adapter cable included in the BMW Control Kit? Or do you have to order it separately or do you have to build it yourself?

Hello. No, the cable needs to be ordered separately (most people don't need it so it is not bundled)

I may have missed something but how does this improve on using the wonder wheel w/the Connected Ride app?

Map panning. But using the BMW Control (our controller) with BMW Connected app is for sure just secondary consideration. The main reason would be the other 20 apps that otherwise wouldn't work with the BMW Multicontroller AKA Wonderwheel ;-)
