Tools needed:
JB Weld Plastic Bonder (Epoxy)
Masking tape
Isopropyl Alcohol
Emery paper
Small wire brush
Rags/cloths
Painters Tape
Rubber Gloves
Optional: Dremel with a flappy sanding disk
Optional: Paint thinner (to wipe off epoxy that may spill)
The parts don’t mate perfectly, so you will need a thick glue that can fill gaps. The epoxy I chose is specific for this type of application. The epoxy's working time is short, so having everything prepared before mixing it is important. Using glue is all about good surface preparation; take your time.
Good luck! I hope this video helps you fix your trim as well!
