I’ve owned both x5m and turbo cayenne. Porsche is both better on track and more refined. BMW always notch below Porsche.

The GTS is more like a X5 35i or 50i competitor, the Turbo and Turbo S are X5M competitors

Compare Cayenne GTS to x5 V8, compare Cayenne turbo or turbo S to X5 M. Both comparisons the BMW is feeding on dust.

@@kokokoko3298 if you’re talking about the hybrid race in the wet vid then you’ll see that the Cayenne was driven in hybrid eco mode and lost until it was put in sport plus mode and walked away from the X6M. Obviously you could be talking about a completely different vid however what I say stands from the vid I watched which was X6M vs RSQ8 vs Cayenne Turbo S. Regardless in my original post I was actually talking about my own 650 BHP 957 Turbo S vs relatively aged cars.

Bro you gotta drive the cayenne turbo s and then compare it to and x5m. Turbo s and x5m have similar hp and torque figures and compare much closer than a gts does to an x5m.

Good review Cayenne Turbo S for the extra seasoning though. Porsche is more luxurious and refined inside. Competion model BMW is faster. Cayenne Turbo prices 166k++ are insane though. Much more than x3 competition or x5 or x6. Porsche options are so expensive. You can spec out a 250k Cayenne Turbo S crazy.

I have a 10-year-old BMW and a 20 year old Porsche..There's a reason Racecar drivers prefer Porsche---BMWs are great GT cars (I have a 3 series), but Porsches are the superior sports car, on track and off (I l have a Boxster S...). The BMW is my road trip car/daily driver, and the Porsche is my performance car. PS: I LOVE DRIVING MY BMW, BUT I HATE OWNING IT. 10 years old, and the interior materials are going to crap... Not to mention all the plastic engine components being the number one reason to despise bmw. Again, the BMW continues to impress me as a road trip car and daily driver, but I tell everybody to never buy one. LEASE, YES. Buy..? NEVER. I BOUGHT MINE WITH 30,000 MILES ON IT, THINKING IT WOULD BE "TROUBLE-FREE" for a few years ... MISTAKE.

Bro, you do not own a BMW at all. BMW interior material quality is better than Merc, Audi and Porsche is last. When it comes to ambience, it’s Merc, then BMW, then Audi and again Porsche is last. Porsches only better than these cars on chassis and let’s not forget that nowadays, a Porsche is an Audi which is a VW. Good luck mate.

Those motors are so unreliable past 50k miles, and driving it like that will for sure put a lot of wear on engine/ camshaft lifters which were known to fail
