Tässä projektissa olisi päästy selvästi helpommalla vain valitsemalla laatikon joka ei tarvitse omaa poljinta. Silti tosimies vatkaa keppiä ja polkee samalla jalkaa. Automaatit onkin siis tarkoitettu tallatuille miehille. Samoin tämä projekti on oiva esimerkki siitä kuinka yksi muutos aiheuttaa kymmenen muuta muutosta. Onnea ja menetystä valitsemallanne tiellä.👍
No en nyt tiiä oisko se automaatti auttanu mitään 😅 Jarru ja ohjausmuutokset ois pitäny silti tehdä jokatapauksessa. Toki kytkinsylinterin puuttuminen ois auttanut hieman jarrupolkimen kanssa. Mutta toisaalta se automaatti ei ois millään mennyt kardaanitunneliin. Tuo 37dz on varsinkin kytkinkopan osalta huomattavasti kaposempi mitä m6x automaateissa. Niin se mahtu suorilta tohon 70-luvun kardaanitunneliin, eikä tarvinnu sitä tehdä uusiksi 😁 Mutta joo se tahtoo olla totta että pikku muutos aiheuttaa 10 lisämuutosta, mut niin se on 😅 Noiden meidän e30:ien kanssa vieläkin on vähän taistelua sen kanssa kun tehdyt muutokset on aiheuttanu ongelmia muualle 🙄
It may be a month too late to comment but as I mentioned before in other videos...we owned an e12 528 German import and it was very different to your model...for the braking set up it had a fully hydraulic twin booster set up...much like the jaguars and Alfas of the same era...the master was similar to the clutch style master with a twin outlets front and rear...the front pipe spilt and fed the twin independent boosters which was mounted on the chasis rail on the left side ...my point is if you had access to that type set up you could mount the boosters any suitable place to free engine space with minimum modifications...just some information for you and followers for future projects 👍👍👍
Thanks for these videos! I have a spare m60b40 and an early E24 with a tired M30 engine.. so was considering this swap. But the steeringshaft and brakebooster part makes me doubt now. Goodluck with the swap! will keep following your videos.

Ideana ihan hyvä, mutta osatarjonnat, myyjät, hinnat, saatavuudet jne. muuttuu koko ajan, että moista listaa pitäs olla koko ajan ylläpitämässä, niin en tiedä kauanko moinen lista pysyis validina. Mutta hyviä ideoita lisäsisällöstä Patreonin puolelle otetaan vastaan (jos sinne nyt päätyy porukkaa hyötymään niistä)
First of all, I don't like manual brakes at all. Secondly, it's not allowed to change braking system type here if you plan to use the car on road. If the car has assisted brakes, you can't go to manual brakes 😅
I can understand that.i have manual brakes on my e30,e36 rally car and 67 mercury cougar. it works well for me.it’s interesting to learn how different countries regulate vehicle modification.
@@killerb069 Yeah it's different in every country. In some other places the bolt-on manual brakes would be fine but there is no way you could do this kind of welding modifications.
I would guess no ABS in this, but time will tell. The e30 ABS is MK20 I think. Anyways it's going really slowly. I have pretty much wired that in, but the new ABS driveshafts from SKF were crap and I needed to go back to original non-abs ones, so I don't have the abs rings at back anymore. Luckily I managed to get original abs driveshafts that I will refurbish next winter and use those.
