There’s something to be said about taking weight out of the top of the car. I know it’s only eight-ish pounds, but you’re taking it from the very top of the car which must add up when you’re on the track, in a corner. Even if you don’t plan to track the car, it’s cool to not only reduce the weight but install a panel that won’t corrode over time. thanks for the video. I had no idea these existed. I wish they made the same thing for E28’s.
For as many times as I’ve googled “e30 sunroof delete” you’d think this would’ve populated. For sure ordering a carbon fiber one. Dope that you can still use the sunroof.
Hey man got my e28 up and running 🏃♂️ I pull the plugs they are all black except for the wled coils cylinders 3-4 are nice and brown should I add resistors to IGN 1 and IGN 2?
@@michaelcleary5205 it's hard to say without seeing it but definitely try test mode and make sure the sparks are good on both those cylinders. Then try making sure the fuel injectors are working as they should with the test mode too. You can also take an inexpensive Infrared temp gun and point it at those exhaust ports on the manifold to see if they are a drastically different temperature than the other cylinders. ( The infrared thermometer has saved me on a dead injector before)
