This is the best video bros!!! I have a f10 550i, I’m swapping an Lt1 6.2 from a camaro. Your video showed where to get the trans adapter, the pros and cons... the only thing I have to find now, is how to use the LT1 and still use the adaptive suspension, and/or marry the Chevy and bmw pcm together

Could I ask a favor? I'm looking at using the same adapter with an LS in my e30. I was wondering with where yours sits could you give me a measurement from the rear of the front subframe to the back of the engine where the adapter meets the block? I'm wanting to know with standard sway bar removed if I can fit the gm performance rear sump pan is all. Thanks if you can. Btw your welding skills aren't trash form the later videos I watched. Looked better than most of my friend's welds that say they can weld by far 🤫

Been searching for the engine mounts you’ve used I tried googling e30 ls mounts but can only find sikky and CX racing any help would be appreciated

Did the factory zf crossmember bolt straight up with those mounts?

also change your crank pulley to camaro and run camaro accessories

Is the zf a getrag 260 or can that adapter fit the 260 transmission

From what vehicle did the LS come from, idk much about bald eagle engines👀 if anything, but are all LS engines the same

It's e46 m3 pressure plate and clutch matched to trans you use for anyone seeing this later

Hey if you notice any vibrations on the first drive from the bellhousing area that changes between clutch engagements it may be due to not having the two large dowels on the back of the LS. I just noticed this after watching this video for the 5th time as I'll be buying the same adapter for mine soon. Hopefully you'll be fine and the engine plate is centered with just the bolts. Btw there should be two hollow dowels on the ZF trans and the one small solid dowel over where the original BMW starter went but the two you have are almost 180 from each other so you'll be fine there. I left the hollow ones in the M54 I pulled my ZF from and had to go back to the yard to get them, ooops… Give me a follow back @M85suchka on the gram, I've been posting up a little on my LS E30 parts collecting and engine build so far. What rpm cruising is 5th gear at 60?
