A quick little video on a BMW E30 325i we had in for an ECU conversion a while ago, that I've just got around to editing the video.
I run through fitting various sensors, and ignition coils. I pop down to see a friend of mine, James at JEK Fabrications for him to weld on some studs for me to fit the coils.
I then run through getting it to fire, and then very briefly the tuning process.
I hope you enjoy, and that it helps in some way fitting your MaxxECU.
As always, with my videos, I have genuinely no idea about making videos, so the production is not great compared to many others, but hopefully you enjoy our amatuer content regardless. :-)

Wow, cool video and thanks for the info. I have always wonder how much better would be that engine with aftermarket ecu and now i can see it is way more better, also this would be epic investment for the future, if want more like turbo, stroker kit, head job with cams

I'm surprised you got that much out of the stock injectors, most people bump up to more modern 550cc units when adding a cam, etc.

Great video! I know its been a few months. Not sure if this was your build or a customers. I try to look for long term impressions on these conversions as im currently getting a maxxecu update to my 92 gmc typhoon turbo charged truck.

My e30 is a 320i from 1989 with a m20b20 engine swapped from an e34, my old motor had the distribuitor in the left side of the block, not in the front of the camshaft, so at the moment im running with my old dizzy on left side, is there a problem or will i have problems in the future?

can you tell me how did you position the cam trigger mechanically correctly ? from MRT you have a lot of adjustment space for the trigger. How to position it correctly when the crank is at TDC?
