This is perhaps the best BMW build I have ever seen. Used to do mods and swaps myself, especially E30. The best way is to always use original parts whenever possible because they are built to last and spares easy to obtain. Seen many money no object projects but this one is done with both great skill and taste. Unfortunately in many countries regulations make such mods impossible but US seems to be quite lenient. Kudos to all involved.

I am a BMW fan and at first I thought how could they damage an E30 M3 considering how much they are worth now. Then after watching the whole video and seeing the incredible skill, workmanship and the extent of the metal work required putting that massive V-10 and all the drive train, management system, suspension, etc absolutely blew me away. Probably one of the coolest builds I have ever seen! Great Video

Amazing build

Easily one of the greatest BMW builds on the planet. Simply stunning and a dream to ever own something similar. I'd love to do this with a Dinan s65 instead, maybe a custom dct setup and an outboard or airlift H suspension. And then do the same setup on an E9 635i chassis, and an E31 csi chassis.... Yaaaaas, 😳😳🙏🙏! Oh if I won the lottery.

Wooow! What a build! How long to complete it? And estimate on the cost?

My word that is some of the best fabrication I've ever seen. Especially the tuck and position on the roll cage and the sucking in of the front rails and strut towers. The only thing I absolutely hate about every E30 build I've seen is the disparity in front and rear wheel opening. If you are fabbing new inner and outer wheelwells and mounting points, why not open it up to take the same size wheels as the front? If the wheelwells (arches) were larger, it would look so much better. E30s with Yugo wheels in the back look kinda out of place.

I doubt it was a true M3. If you watch the video they start with nothing but a shell. It doesn't matter what E30 it was, they are all identical after the few strengthening pieces put in the parts that were cut out anyway.

Shame it was a M3 & not just any E30

stupid: cut up a solid e30 m3 beyond recognition, changing virtually everything, rather than start with a less desirable standard e30.

Why in the name of God would you do this to an M3? I’m not a purist, but that’s ridiculous by any standard. That’s a $30-100,000 car depending on the condition and there’s not many of them. You may as well paint a postmodern painting over mona lisa.
