Bro byo. Taking a motor out of a rwd is immensely easy compared to awd & fwd, i couldnt even tell you how much. And working on a combustion engine is also easy especially the old ones.
First of all great rebuild video and great choice of music, i can see you guys have big knowledge and skills, what i was interested is how much can cost full rebuild like you did in euros of course and can it fit without any big changes in bmw e30 316i/318i ?
Thxs, the cost its depending how good or bad you engine is, in our case we don't need external work like planing the block and the head or oversize pistons for example. A Maschine Shop will take round about 5000 or 6000 euros in switzerland for this work. All another things you need like new gaskets and replacement parts ( oilpump, waterpump, etc. ) you will be round about 3000 euros. We never make a swap in a e30 but i see pictures and i wil say its posible but i think you will be make several adjustment to fit the engine and the drivetrain.
