Yes, I figured that out later as I started with it dry then WD40 did the job but I thought washing up liquid might do the same job. Thanks for watching and for your time to leave a comment🤝
I wish you could've opened the door a few times to see if the rubber seals come off. Doesn't the rear doors have a trim with the rubber seal that cover the last 24 inch of the rear door trim space?
Just subscribed. Been watching a few of your videos and found them very useful. At the moment I have a faulty injector on my Skoda Fabia 1.6tdi and have been watching your video from a while back on how to replace them. Can you help me with the Delphi program that you used to code the injector afterwards? What version do I need - my car is 2014 Mk2 - and is there a free version I can download?
Hi and thanks for subscribing to my channel, this means a lot🤜🤛 Regarding the delphi software it is difficult to find as Delphi take it down from ebay due to copyrights. It is even more difficult to find the interface cable. You might be better investing in a new tool from some of the popular brands like Autel or other brands. Hope you get sorted and thanks once again🤝
@@TheKeenMechanic Thank you for your reply. The Autel tool looks to be almost £500, which for this one--off job is way too much. I was looking for some free software to download to my laptop.
@@salopian4037 Short term probably hardly noticeable but long term may cause an issue. In my video I explain in detail what coding is and why we do it. It is like fine tuning
No, it is not but it looks really well. Not sure why BMW didn't put a seal there. I really like the look of it now. Hope you like the video and thanks for your message
@@frankiezzi5815 The rears are 9.5j and front are 8j. Not sure why they don't look staggered but they are. Front tyres are 235 and rear 265. These are a Genuine BMW set from E38 sport model. The only thing I did is to refurbish them and fully respray them but I did not like the polished lip and got them painted in titansilber to match the car at the time I fully resprayed it
