I too own a E39 528i and it's the best car I've owned it's soild build and suspension provide for a smooth stable ride at 110 mph.

Yes, Dinan has different staged tunes available on their site for the E39.

Do you need a tune to have the dinan muffler ? Or you just slapped it on?

Technically you should, but I ran the Dinan exhaust with the stock ECU just fine for a year. No codes.

are you not supposed to remove the secondary air pump with headers

You would need a block off plate to fully remove it and sometimes they can end up becoming an exhaust leak. Better to just leave the air pump hooked up and if the car isnt tuned and has defoulers on the rear o2 sensors it’ll pass all smog monitors

Do you have a link for the exhaust? I searched Dinan's website but the only exhaust they have is for the 540.

That is where I ordered it from couple years ago. I see it is no longer on their site unfortunately.

Yes, still have the butterfly resonator. I didnt want it overbearing by deleting that.

How did you reset the ECU exactly?

More like a throttle reset. Turning the key to first click with pedal down for some time and then cycling it off for a minute. More specific instructions online. Worked like a charm.

Warum schneidet man sich die Heckschürze hinten weg und hat den Auspuff so scheiße hängen😢😢 und der Sound ist richtig scheiße😂😂😂 wenn man überhaupt von Sound sprechen mag😢😢😢 hättest dir besser Supersprint genommen 5:27
