Finally got a tune for the E39 after putting in SS headers and Dinan Exhaust. It was hard to find someone that could do it in my area, but finally found a business in Florida that is able to remap the ECU's in these cars!
Go to www.chaoscalibrations.com to find your custom tune! It is definitely worth it! They are located in Florida but they do remote tuning and it is super simple to do!

Big question… which exact ecu tune did you go with? I see different options but the support list doesn’t specify which one for the e39 530i. Thanks in advance!

It depends on the ECU model you have as early e39s have a different ECU. Once you determine that, you can pick and choose based from the mods that you have; intake, exhaust, headers, etc. I customized based off my mods and preference. It's not a one size fits all tune. What a beautiful car, really a perfect one. When I get one I'm thinking about NA tunning for about 350HP, but with similar great sound and to raise max RPM as much as possible considering reliability.
