I did this over the last two years. All OEM lemforder with Sachs sport struts . I did press in x5 front (rearward ) bushings that have worked beautifully keeping the factory smoothness without the early failure and steering wheel shimmy at 50mph. One other upgrade was the power flex rear subframe bushing INSERTS installed 2 days ago. It was one of the best upgrades I be done. The original bushings were ok (no crack or tears) but too much tramlining ,excess body roll and general loose filling from the rear. All fixed and feels very similar to my e39 M5. Totally planted but with an OPen diff feel (m5 LSD is one of the most noticeable differences between them. The 540i sport 6speed should’ve had that from factory. The m5 puts power down in a sports car like fashion. Planted around corners under hard acceleration and a progressive oversteer. Both are great.

which model of M3 control arm do you use? I have been to my dealer, and they need specific model of M3 to know which control arms to give me

Bmw E39 suspension is very hard to work on like at 5 guys working on that bimmer

The car in the video was a 99, I'm not confident in this piece of info but I don't believe m tech suspension was an option till later years. Regardless, the parts installed should be compatible with all years as the difference was struts, springs, and sways? (again shaky on that info) Sorry.
