Ayy! Whats up everyone!? Today is the day we put the front lip on! This lip is for the M5 bumper for an E39. I paint the lip semi-gloss black and it came out mint! Hope yall enjoy the video. DONT FORGET TO SUBSCRIBE! Catch yall on the next one!

Dope to see someone else messin with the 540 heavy! My build is essentially a new car at this point, easier to say what I haven't upgraded/fix haha. Did the guides/timing/vanos last year. Basically a street M5, about a paint job away. Check out that CCV at the back of the manifold for that oil burn on start up btw.

Thanks man! Good thing you did the major issues these cars have. Should be good for a while. Keep an eye on the coolant tho. I will check out the CCV when i get the chance!

@@A1Brian Haha you right! That entire system has got less than 5k on it right now. I run an aluminum 1.2bar cap & bleeder for longevity. May just have to do a mod vid myself!

Really nice man, i'm doing the lip install right now, searched a how'to video and yours was the first one :D What kind of Rims they are ? I have a custom forged Hamann, but yours are awesome.

Thanks man! Them being forged is really good. The brand of wheels are Beyern. High gloss mesh style. 3 inch mirror lip. 19x9.5 offset 15 all around.

For front lips that say M5 only, what’s the difference between the M5 bumper vs 540? they look identical

The 540 doesnt come with the M5 front bumper unless you get the 03 M sport. The regular base has a different front bumper and rear bumper. M5 lip wont fit on a base model bumper.

what are those headlights and fog lights?

Headlights are facelift. From 01-03 e39. The ones with the orange corners. But i bought just the lens with the clear corners. Baked the headlight to add the lens. Fog lights are from the M5 bumper. I have a recent video on the bulbs if your interested.
