BMW E39 M5 Front, Rear Screen and Sunroof Seal Trim Replacement 

Welcome along to another E39 M5 DIY How To Guide.
In this guide we will be replacing the front windscreen / windshield seal, rear windscreen / windshield seal and sunroof / moonroof seal.
This is a very straight forward process and can be done in around 15 to 30 minutes for all 3 seals / trims.
All parts are available from BMW and are as follows:
Rear screen trim Upper trim / seal - 51318159785
Rear screen trim lower trim / seal - 51318159786
Front screen trim - 51318159784
Sunroof seal trim (flocked finish) - 54128169710
Do not be tempted to use cheap imitation aftermarket items as they will never fit correctly and you are likely to suffer wind noise.
If your screens have been replaced at some point then you may have difficulty in removing the old trim seals due to adhesive squeezeout - Double check any sealant before refitting the new trims to ensure ease of fitment.
