Hi Guys, I'd like to give this a go but any ideas how to get the glass hatch open if the switch doesn't work? BTW, Thanks for the hard work on the tutorial. Love the music too!

Hy . You need to remove the trunk panel , and on the back of the button ( inside ) you will see a small hole 🕳. Insert a thin screwdriver and the glass will open .

@@TutorialeAUTO Hi guys, i can feel the hole but i can't get the glass to release. In the hole, am i looking for a switch or button that need to be pushed? Or do i just poke it in and it should release automatically?

Big Thanks to @Tutoriale AUTO HD found the latch and popped open glass hatch. Undid the back to the switch housing. Turns out the switch was disconnected. Plugged connector back in and glass hatch has worked a treat since! Thanks again for your help and video! :D

Hi guys great tutoral. I've took all bolts off mine and it seems to be fused to the window catch housing, I've tried wd40 hitting it with a hammer but nothing getting it loose. Any tips would be grateful. Thanks.

Great tutorial. My wiper axle for some reason has a higher diameter pinion, not allowing me to remove it, even with all the screws off. Haven't found a solution online yet. If anyone can help me, please reply to this comment!

Hello bro . It’s the same size , but i’m 100% sure you have the same problem i had . The extra metalic ring was supposed to be attached on the wiper arm . But for some reasons , the ring detaches from the arm and it’s stuck on the axle , and the window’s hole is to small for the ring to get out . I managed to get it off but it was hard work because you must pay attention not breaking the glass . I used i micro cutting tool and i cut the axle . Replaced the whole assembly and the wiper arm . Maybe you will find a smarter solution.

@@TutorialeAUTO You are a potential life saver. I started to cut the axle but decided to take a break after a while, these things need patience. I think it's the only way, because it's really stuck. It looks like a single piece (axle + ring).

Yes . Exactly. Mine also was welded on the axle . I did the job in 3 hours . Don’t rush ! Trust me . Patience and you will do it . One guy told me he managed to take it off using a flame to heat the ring . But i was afraid not to brake the glass with the flame .

P.s. Use some tape to cover the glass near the cutting place . The hot sparks may damage the window . I did this years ago in a old car , cutting for rear speakers . 😂 i made the rear window full of melted spots . 😂💪🏻

Hi mate , did you use silicone on Micro Swich? Looks like water getting inside .

Hi . Nope . I replaced with a new one ! Maybe is possible to use silicone but I recommend buying a new one

I ordered switch from aliexpress and when i got it installed it didnt work but now when i was checking on rear window wipers it just started working 🤨

Check the tailgate wires . I also have a video for this . Maybe you have a broken wire

2 main reasons . The switch is not good , or you have a short circuit on the hinge wires . It’s a common problem on touring . I also have a video for fixing the wires .
