Thanx, but think i will give it a miss for changing mine now !! I have although just bought new led logo door puddle lights, so hope they arrive soon from that top manufacturing country !
Great vid, had the same LED's fit to my mk8 civic but they definitely didn't have the same beam pattern as yours. More of a fuzzy line than a cut off. Ended up going back to halogens as I found I had to lower the beam to prevent the light overspill dazzling oncoming traffic. Although they were far superior in brightness I just wasn't getting the view distance. Currently using Philips whitevision 4200k which are a definite downgrade on light output but have increased the distance I can see without been flashed by oncoming vehicles. Think you hit the led jackpot there finding some that match your housing so well! Any experience with the new mini projector LED's? They're like a mini projector built into the led.
Hi mate, did you twist them in the housing to adjust the beam? These are decent cut off tbh. Not 100% perfect but way better than the original bulbs. Because there’s not 360° light output of the led there are a couple of shadows that show in the distance, but other than that they are good. I’m considering modifying the lights with a projector inside though
EBay. I think this was the one I bought www.ebay.co.uk/itm/393448003125?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=FkHd4yVUSGu&sssrc=2349624&ssuid=B24T_G0JTKS&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
Hey man great vid - just bought these auxito LED bulbs to replace by old h7 ones. But i didn't realise that there's a second set of bulbs that need replacing. what are the other bulbs you used? Am i supposed to buy 2 sets of these?
@@StupidBlokeStupidVideos hey man could you explain more abt h7 and h4. btw sry english isnt my main language i dont get what u meant with “want them for a bug”
@@cwliu2040 a bug is what car he was thinking of buying them for, (Citroen C1/107/Toyota Aygo). They take a different type of bulb (H4), so these (H7) wouldn’t fit his car that’s all. This other video is the H4 type I tested in one of those cars too ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-N1CwT30KYk8.html
I kinda miss LEDs. I went back to halogen (Philips racing vision I think) on my C1 after having LEDs for a bit, they started good but the beam pattern went a bit off, even with adjustment, and I swear they stopped being as bright too. They were a bitch to get in and out too, the skirt was slightly too thick for the c1 bracket so had to really kill your fingertips getting it open & closed.
Yea they can fail over time. I’ve got some in my c1 that I’m impressed with. H4 are easier to get a good beam pattern out of as long as you get decent ones as they use a shroud to aim the light
@@StupidBlokeStupidVideos don't even think I had them in a year :( they were the ones Aanton reviewed, EasyEagle brand I think it was? They started out great.
@@Lassitude1001 I hope mine last better than that. I fitted Philips RacingVision to a mates ovloV a bit ago, I made a vid on it actually. They were decent but they both blew within about 4 months… and cost about as much as these LEDs!
@@StupidBlokeStupidVideos In your video you've tried hologen bulbs and nowadays there is a replacement LED bulbs night breakers for h7. They are approved at Germany already. Tried to reply with the link but comment was deleted probably. Check h7 LED night breakers.
@@sh4l1s ah right I see you mean LED nightbreakers, I’d love to try some of them but they’re a bit out of my budget unfortunately. RU-vid does delete links sometimes.
@@StupidBlokeStupidVideos there are loads of +150/200% halogen bulbs out there for good price and lifetime. Bosch Gigalight, Osram Nightbreaker, Hella Performance, etc.
@@StupidBlokeStupidVideos The osram nightbreaker doesnt last long either thats the trade off with all them brighter halogens is they burn out a lot faster
