That colour very much looks like the one I am going to put onto my e46. Satin Metallic Lagoon Blue. And in the video you perfectly see the effect it has. In the light, it looks greenish kind of, but in the shadow, totally blue. I love it. This car is a dream. Would love to have an e46 M3 like that.

If it hadn’t been for the spoiler on the trunk, would you have wrapped the trunk in one piece? Since there’s no break where you’d hide a seem?

Yes, if we had removed the spoiler, it would've been a one piece trunk install. The seam is nearly invisible, so we saved ourselves the trouble of messing with the double sided tape that's holding the spoiler on.

I have this exact e46 minus the m car. how much did you charge for this job???

This specific job was $2300. I previously wrapped the roof, antenna, and side mirrors a while back so this job did not include that. Keep in mind that the cost for wrap depends heavily on location.

@@PTCustomGraphics so around 3k for ALL the work you did? I would just get a new paint job but then again got to respect a man who charges his worth. if I was more well off that would be a viable options. looks great man

@@startingtech3900 More like $2550 for the whole thing. I wouldn't trust a $3K paint job from anybody. A professional paint job would start around $10k. Plus, people who get their cars wrapped aren't looking for a permanent solution. Professional shops in my area charge around $3200 starting price and $6000+ for chrome wrap. I charge less because I don't have overhead costs. But yes, you're right, I do charge accordingly for my quality of work.

Measure your hood and order double the amount needed, just in case.

can wrap be removed without damaging original paint if you want to go back to original color

Yes, that is the entire purpose of a wrap. It’s a temporary color change that also acts as a protective layer for the original paint.

I purchase a full roll for almost every car.

How much vinyl wrap did you need for the car? The color I'm looking at only comes in 60ft.

idk if you figured it out or not but people have done e46s in 55ft, 60ft is perfect. backup in case you mess up or extra to rewrap anything if its damaged

@@tentnishida Thanks for the reply! I found a roll for 75ft and went with that. It's my first wrap attempt so I didn't want to take any chances. But you are right, once I'm more comfortable 60ft would have been perfect.
