Hello. I bought the same module as yours to be able to program the opening of the hood in the key but I couldn't because it doesn't open the application in the same way as yours. from 2002
I think mine does that from the factory. I was told by BMW to never put the top down until the car is on. With it off it puts more pressure on the hydraulic pump
just buy a smartmodule instead of carly. The smartmodule enables you to open/close the roof be pressing the button once and while driving up to 30miles/hour
How about opening the top while you are driving. Can you program that? Sometimes when I'm in a traffic jam and it's getting hot I want to shut the roof. But it's blocked.
can Carly program acceptance for a convertible Hardtop? I am having Issues with my E46 I installed the Hardtop kit on my convertible M3 because it was not factory set and now my Navigation system is acting up and keeps the interior light of the hardtop on and Navigation system on even after the car being completely turned off, I have to disconnect the battery to avoid getting it drained by these issues, there might be a short circuit somewhere, or do I need to program the car for the Hardtop compatibility? and that should clar the issues I am not 100% sure, any help will be appreciated.
Hello i have an E64 with a carly adapter. comfort close works wit remote to lower top and windows. When i hit close on remote only windows go uo and not the top. Any ideas to help?
just curios , can this option be coded by the dealer or is it like remote comfort close for sedan/coupe where refuse to do it ? or will the dealer do but only for top down and not up or they wont do it for either ?

Is Carly just for coding convenience features or say if I needed to code my e53 after converting the rear air bags to coils it would be possible with the Carly

First, does one have to have the mods4cars BMW module for $400 in ADDITION to this Carly or can this be done with JUST the Carly?? ie. do you NEED BOTH things? That's like $400 for the mods4cars module PLUS the $80-100 for the Carly....is this correct. Both vids do not state whether you need BOTH. ie. what is the CHEAPEST WAY and DEVICES (in full) needed to do this?? Thx.
Hi iv just bought a carly and downloaded the app to code my roof to the fob after watching your video but now been told i need the full version for a big cost is this correct or will this app do what i need or do i need something els to use it properly
OMG thanks for the Carly recommendation... insert sarcasm... what a scam product... gives you the ability to program a couple of features and you only have to pay a $100 a year license fee... I can only assume you are getting paid by them... oh just in case you were wondering if you order the device you can't return it...SCAM
This just shows you how much a piece of shit bmw is as a company. How much do they charge for something that is already in the coding of the car??? Wtf. I hate that shit, just do it for all of them or don’t put it in there. Just a way for them to charge for an option that is literally already on the car.
