BMW E53 X5 Headlamp Restoration 

I ended up with identical results on my 530 Sport headlights using Mothers Mag & Aluminum Polish (5oz./141g). Price about $6 at Walmart or Amazon. Total time for both sides was about fifteen minutes. I only used new/clean rags, no power tools whatsoever, no water spray bottle and didn't even have to tape off the edges. All that UV damaged crud come off flawlessly. I protected the lenses with the liquid from my unused Sylvania lens kit I bought months ago. My halos haven't looked this great in years. Problem solved. Wallet happy. Now on to the next project...
