In todays video, I remove the front bumper to gain access to both headlights, remove them both, replace the angel eye LEDs and cut the lens away to replace with a brand new version.
Thank you. I have a 2006 750Li and your video was spectacular. One of the best instructional videos I have seen. Will be tackling this job in the next few months. Thanks from Canada!
Nice video. I'm a little pissed. Years ago the lenses were not available. I decided to put a little paint on moms old 745 and I polished the originals. Two days, seriously 2 days. They came out perfect and I shot them with clear poly but man I wished those lenses were available back then. KK
Steve, you have the same amount of OCD as myself - wish I had the knowledge to make these videos. Your video quality is excellent and highly informative - similar if not better than M539 Restoratios (anothe favorite of mine) - Don't give up on the videos - you have a winning formula here.
Thanks for this video you helped me a lot and safed me even more money. I had an accident few days ago and one headlight broke. Im gonna do it myself now thanks 👏👏👏👏
Good to see you back, another great video! Need to do the lenses on my car - like you I did the whole wet sanding and polishing lark and it was yellow again a few months later.
Steve I have both headlights out and have lens for them is there a way I could send them to you have you do them for you I’ll pay your price, what did you have that right headlight priced at.?
nice work. but you did nothing without repairing the wiring. insulation is made out of biodegradable plastic, and i could already saw your optic fibre cable cracking. that means the entire wiring will crack and flake off
@@stevesbmwbarn5706 Somehow that link does not show the lens anymore. I found other offers on the same AliExpress site, but not sure if they are as good as yours. Any advice, please?
Stupid car ... a lot of work just to remove the headlights ... toyota and Honda much better... reliable, heavy duty, long life, smart any easy to work on it ... thank you Steve
