This was the last lap on the Nordschleife at 18. April 2022
Standard 120d with 163 hp 340 nm
M-sportsuspension
Manual gearbox
1380 kg in the scale
Nankang NS2R tyres
overall, the car worked very well, on some points i got a bit understeer when i pushed to much

Watching your video I just realised that my 120d is capable of way more than I thought, I just have to drive it a bit different.

NIce! I have the same car as a daily. Has a remap and around 210hp, measured in dyno. Recently put on Bilsteins and Eibach Pro Kit, soon to be M3 control arms as well. I still have not found a car that could replace it as a daily driver - it goes quite well with the remap, has RWD and really good handling, is economical and compact, and with the M47 reliable (or rather "durable") as well

in this pricerange its the best car to have if you want a small diesel wich is really fun to drive :)

no it realy wasnt' the first time :) this is actually the 9th car im driving with on the ring. And at that day it was my last lap 🏁 but i'm still not the fastest driver 😬

Thank you! yes it is a bit understeery at some points, i have to do something about the camber on the frontaxle. It's the Nankang NS2-R tire on it

yes it's completely stock, maybe next year i will go for a remap to get a little bit more speed on the uphill sections

It's not stock impossible, This can be seen from 130 km/h, minimum 200 hp

Of course, the DSC slows down the car to harsh, thats why im in the DTC-MODE. In this mode i can "play" a bit more and it intervenes later. I always use this mode on the nordschleife. Only on the GP-track i turn in off completely

Wenn ich das richtig gesehen habe, geht der werte Fahrer mit leuchtender Motorkontrollleuchte auf die Nordschleife. Das halte ich für wenig, bis gar nicht zielführend. Gut, es ist nicht mein 120d, der dann über den besagten Jordan geht.

wenn man das Auto ausgelesen hat und das hat er, es sich um eine Lapalie handelt, ist das völlig ok. Außerdem gehört eine leuchtende MKL bei BMW zum guten Ton.
