Will deff be getting resonators. I have a 2nd cat, res delete and the tsudo muffler and it sounds okay but it gives old truck vibes with the sound not sports sedan
Hello there, I was looking around for this exhaust a few months back, but they seem to be out of production nowadays. Where did you get yours? Sounds great btw!
Was wondering the same thing. I've been looking for a new exhaust for a while now for my e90 328i and this by far sounds the best, but I couldn't find the exhaust anywhere.
@@nicoskill2466 Its the same thing as running a secondary cat delete, replacing the resonator with the vibrant 1792 and doing the "BMW PE Mod" (Would have to DIY that though, find it on google). It would sound more or less identical
what exhaust do you have? How does it sound? Does the mid pipe bolt straight onto the performance exhaust? Can you also link the exhaust? Hello there, I was looking around for this exhaust a few months back, but they seem to be out of production nowadays. Where did you get yours? Sounds great btw! Hey dude, what kind of angel eyes bulbs you have installed on your e90? Do you have a link where i can buy them? Sounds sick!!! Any problem with o2 lights popping ? How’s the power? I had the same setup with stage 3IM and I kept having o2 problems. What’s the part number of the pipes?
@@MrJohn2590 I didnt get a reply from him so I went ahead and got 1 resonator and did the 335 PE mod. I believe going catless headers will refine the sound even better which is what I'm going to do next.
Hi there, this is just what I was looking for. Could you please tell me where you put the bottle style resonator? Did you put it where the stock resonator was (which the performance exhaust removed)? Thanks in advance.
@@Falco_e46 damn don’t make me unlock old memories 🥹 I totaled my BMW almost 2 years ago. I did end up getting the active autowerkes muffler with resonator delete. Never got the afe mid pipe. But yeah it sounded nice af. Would have probably been even better if I got the afe mid pipe.
I got them from highperformancebulbs.com I WILL ADVISE YOU, these bulbs ran me into lots of headaches because they are not plug n play. The require special coding that I could never seem to find, if I were you I would do serious research into finding the right led bulbs and coding to go along with it for the brake lights. Turn signals, side indicators, and halo rings are plug and play for led options.
I know this is an old comment. But to combat this, all you need it BimmerGeeks protool app on your phone. You'll be able to code it to not do the bulb check and all that.
$700 for the exhaust used (came w/vibrant resonator installed), $200 for the midpipes, $200 exhaust and midpipes labor, $80 for new exhaust tips and $220 exhaust tips labor. Roughly $1400-$1500 for everything.
Where the midpipes and the rest of the exhaust pipes met. It used to be connected with oem clamps but they leaked to I had the midpipes welded in place.
@@Jonathanbarrig Thanks for the reply. I just used the clamps on mine but was considering welding just for this reason. Do you mind telling me how you found out about the leak? Any symptoms?
@@Jonathanbarrig What was the symptoms of the exhaust leak? I recently installed a PE with the mid pipes. I'm surprised at how quiet it is. I suspect an exhaust leak.
Correct, it bolts directly onto the performance exhaust, here's the link for the exhaust www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1345473 this is just to give you a picture of how it's supposed to look, BMW discontinued the part so you'll have to buy it used from a forum member or on eBay.
Rock solid engine, I did deal with an oil pan leak and valve cover gasket leak but other than that just regular maintenance. Still running on the original water pump.
@@danielius100 Not too much, they are rather low in bright daylight. There's a bit of a work around to have brighter LED angel eyes, its not exactly plug and play, I didn't want to get into that.
No O2 codes or lights, the power is slightly more noticeable, just enough. I am about to throw on the 3IM soon and coupled with this I should feel a noticeable difference in power, estimates are 25-30whp gained.
Exhaust is too open too much flow for that little of power. Needs more back pressure somewhere to scream. Thats why its gargling and cant fill the pipes
I recently put on M3 Rep side skirts and installed the three stage intake manifold, just need to have it tuned to activate the DISA valves in the new manifold
Sounds good, very similar to just a muffler delete tho, altho I imagine this exhaust sounds much better inside the cabin - got any sound clips of it inside? Here's what a muffler delete sounds like in and out of the same car: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-vuhsSoQpP0s.html
