Hi Ricky. I'm trying to program a key to a 2011 Mini R56 all keys lost. Says 'Unable to write key data to CAS' when I try through the ignition which prevents getting to the 64 attempts screen, and when I try to read the DME, it reads it as 'Current DME type :MV1722' but then isn, all zeros. Is that the 508 not being able to read the isn of this vehicle or is there another reason for all the zeros please?
My Car BMW X6 2013 E71 CAS3++ (ISTAP) is it different from CAS3++. Because can not read auto vin and when I do it manualy can not read ISN, it says isn read successfully but the result is zeros, any idea?
This wasn't an ISTAP encrypted version of CAS3++. Otherwise it would not be possible via OBD without a firmware downgrade. When CAS integration level reaches 45+ then this is when firmware downgrade will be required to access EEPROM over OBD.
I see people always talk about high risk on doing this type of CAS through OBD what are the precautions that I have to take before and during this process
