The recording on the 325i was quite bad otherwise 325i and 330i have the exact same engine n53b30 and they sound the same only difference that boosts the extra 62bhp on 330i is the 3 stage manifold intake, instead of the 1 stage manifold intake on the 325i which is easily changeable

@@sandromaz5002 Some 325i here in europe has N52b25 engine which is 2.5liters. Torque will never be the same as 330i (N52/N53b30) then.

(look it up, the xi takes 0,5secs more to 0-100 than the normal one 7,5 compared to 7,0secs! simply because it is heavier!) and if it really is the 2.5l like mine, 6.5secs is a lie dude. Mine has a Pretty Fresh engine and faster than 7.0 isnt possible. Not on 255 rims and not on 205. So yours must be seriously tuned as well, if yours really does 6,5 ^^

Valtteri K yours is Xi mate. 325i stock number is 7.6 later model 7.7 I had one before slow as f. Even it only weight 1.45 ton. My 740il 4.4 v8 2 ton car does 6.8

it's not good comparison because some of them got traction control off and some on, which cut's power. Diesel engine in BMW is only good if you're 70yr old, get petrol if you like to drive fast not only in straight line. Don't even compare it to M4 and for god sake, don't add any fake M stripes or anything, especially for diesel....

Dear mike , your on button moon ( look it up ) . I have a 35d xdrive stage 2 and almost nothing beats it , my friend has an m4 competion 444 bhp and almost identical in terms of performance . I keep up with c63 , rs4 the list goes on . I love the f80 m3 but i will tell you mine is overall a better day to day better machine .

@@cjpeels1464 dude, it's a f diesel, it's useless on twisty roads, it's too heavy on front axel and got no rpm's. also the pleasure of driving gasoline is much better. Why you tune diesel ? better just sell it. As for the button "moon" idk what you're talking about, if I leave the traction control on, wheel spins and the ecu cuts the power, it's very noticeable.

@@Desert_Eagle96 Depends on a region. In EU, all 325i came with 3 stage intake which unleashes 218bhp. For US market, 3 stage intake was an optional feature. 3-stage intake gives around 30bhp, so 192bhp for US model without optional 3-stage intake sounds about right. Though, engines were the same N52B25/N53B30 (2.5L pre-LCI or 3.0L LCI)

Also remember they are stopping clock at tacho needle being on 60. True speed is prob 3 mph slower so easily add another 0.5 to each time at best

@@Elites93 Actually, here in Europe we have more power because we got better fuel. Diesel just ain't good. It's too heavy on the front axle to drive fast on twisty roads and there's never enough RPM to do it right. That's why racing cars are gasoline ;) diesel is good for your grandpa. Even official specs from BMW confirm that 320d is slower than 320i. Argue with them ;)

anyway, they are both slow af so not going to argue about this turtles.

@Mike Wilson, I cobfirm your point of view!! I was beleiving that 320d turbo diesel is noticeably quicker than the naturally aspirated 320i because of comparing acceleration videos on youtube. But after some real life tests of my 320i LCI Auto with 3 different 320d I was really surprised about the results!! From 0 to 100 km/h the 20d and the 20i are really close but starting from the 3rd speed after 100 km/h the 320i pulls away with ease and it says bye bye to the 320d in the 4th speed!!

Impossible I own a pre lci 320d with 164bhp I and also my father own lci 320i but 320d smokes it all day. I even reach the speed limit of 225km/h much faster. On a rolling race it's even worse results for 320i
