My vin (CP20052) shows 286hp as well on mdecoder, despite being a 231hp 530xd. Pretty sure that's just mdecoder not being completely up to date or interpreting all M57Tü2's as 335/535d's
thinking of getting my 325d manual stage 1 mapped but slightly worried as its my daily? what do you guys reckon? most people seem to be alright on these cars I think
Hi mate, so long as it’s a reputable mapper and you regularly service the car you definitely won’t t be disappointed, more power, petter economy, all my cars are mapped used regularly in town and motorways never had an issue because of the map 👍🏻😎
hi guys, just bought a 2016 M235i i know i know its not a diesel but ive never ever really been into detailing or even washing cars lol but really want to get into washing it at least weekly, what would you recommend as absolute beginner for getting a good all round clean, any help much appreciated
Hi mate no worries m235 fantastic cars ..first mate basics get a jet wash and a snow foam cannon most cannons will fit karcher jet wash I use autoglym cannon. Snow foam the car first lifts all the dirt Then you should have two buckets one with clean soapy water the other for washing out microfibre wash mit basically keeps the water you put on the car clean Then blast the car off then use a microfibre towel to dry the car Also wash wheels separately don’t use the same water and don’t use the same sponge or microfibre mit hopefully that helps to get you started watch a few vids just to get an idea 😎👍
Hi mate as Martin said I’d invest in a pressure washer and snow foam cannon, I was sceptical at first but the products you can use sane time. Unfortunately your first major detail if the car paintwork isn’t going to be quick, easiest option is to buff to get it nice and clean, if that’s not an option the next best think (can’t believe I’m saying this) would be a clay bar, then a good polish, depending on how much you’ve got to spend Autoglym resin polish/uhd polish etc, a good ceramic spray polish can help aswell. If your washing semi regular I’d seriously recomend Autoglym polar seal to finish it’s almost like a polish just will only realistically last a month tops, hope that helps mate 👍🏻😎
Thanks mate appreciate it, it is a good car the wife loves it, but she’s thinking of upgrading to something newer f series wise, still a 30d tho, I’m tempted just just keep it and just add to the cars 🤔, we have the space on the drive😂
