Any drone ? I was with sport mufflers and catless dp but i had a lot of drone and it was too loud. Now i'm with stock mufflers and thinkig to delete the resonator.
No, no drone at all! The stock mufflers are SO powerful that even with a catless downpipe and a resonator delete, you couldn't feel or hear any drone at all. In fact, the reason I updated my exhaust setup is because the stock mufflers, like I said, are so muffling and good at their job, I really had no sound, and couldn't hear anything. It's insane how good they are. But to answer your question, you wont have any drone at all, but, you may also not have any sound, either.
I'd say it's right between both doors - as in, in the middle of the car, after the downpipe, and before the mufflers, om the dual straight part of the exhaust system. Right in the middle of the car, pretty much!
Haha! I'm glad you did. I'm also glad I helped you find what you were looking for! I found a lack of videos covering this exact setup, so I decided to make my own. Thanks for watching!
You know, honestly, I haven't. This is a great comment, though. I'm gonna look into this; I really don't know why I haven't thought about an x-pipe. Thank you for the idea!
@@MotoRevsI did a resonator delete and installed an x pipe in this exact same spec car. It made almost zero difference to the sound. I then deleted my left muffler but there is way too much drone. Going to put the muffler back on, after deleting the "guts" of the mufflers and see how that sounds while adding a catless vrsf downpipe. Hopefully that provides a bit more grumble without the unbearable drone
My thoughts exactly. I want the sound of the muffler delete with no drone - I'm still trying to figure out the perfect setup! I'm experimenting so that hopefully y'all don't have to.
