I make all sorts of videos chief among which are exhausts, riding POVs and reviews and tutorials! MotoRevs has a main focus of reviewing cars, motorcycles, and parts and such for them, as well as reviewing other such things. Videos uploaded as often as possible! Make sure to subscribe!
I never knew how quick I could be around the corners until I really pushed it. No Ducati can keep up with me, until the straightaway... But 'round the corners where it matters, no one is touching the 390.
No, it does not! It adds another layer, actually. It's amazing - you keep your original iDrive, and you can switch between this MMI and the iDrive. It's perfect.
Continental will not give a ---t if you have any issue. They will have you buy new tires from THEM before DENYING your claim on the defective tires. Their lawyer will then lie to consumer affairs about the process, and how you were cheated. What honest company ducks consumer affairs?
Well, I haven't had that issue before. Tire Rack has replaced 2 right side Continental tires for us before with no questions asked. Maybe Continetsl themselves have bad customer service, but I go through Tire Rack, so I don't have to deal with the manufacturer. I'm sorry to hear that you've had an unfortunate experience with them. I haven't actually heard of such a situation before.
Hey, nice tutorial! Can I just ask,, does your phone connect to it automatically, or u have to go to settings everytime u use it? And next q, does it come up when i start the car, or I have to start it by myself, thanks! Im thinking about this for a long time and am kinda scared that I will spend lot of time before i ride with setting it.
It comments completely automatically. On my Samsung S22 Ultra, all I do is have my bluetooth on (usually always) or, if it's off, just before i get in the car. The MMI will connect automatically and open up Android Auto for me without having to do a thing. Most of the time, that is. Sometimes, it struggles a little, but 98% of the time, it's completely automatically. Also, it starts whenever you unlock the car. So you don't even have to turn it on. Just unlock the car and it connects, sometimes even before you sit down in your seat. You won't have to spend any time at all connecting it. Seriously impressive stuff.
Have started loving your channel after finding out I'll be getting an F10 as well. Definitely plan on rewatching some of your other vids when I buy mods. Some of the best content out there! Keep it up!
Do you think it'd drone if you took off the resonator with the valves closed, so straight piping w mufflers? It'd be way louder with the valves closed but maybe too much.
You know what's crazy is I've been pondering this exact same thing... I've really been considering trying it our, maybe with an x-pipe, even. But, one of my previous setups consisted of a myatless downpipe, a resonator delete, and the stock mufflers, and there was no drone at all. So, in theory, this could work.
@@MotoRevs I think it could be a good idea if someone really just wants their car to sound good and decently loud for most of the time without too much drone. And anytime you really just want to hear the car and not really caring about drone, you just open the valves and basically have a straight pipe. Getting a 2011 535i soon and definitely plan on buying some cutouts and a downpipe. Thanks for the great vids!
I actually tried that. I had a seriously strong magnet, and I tried pulling it out using it, but the filter was in with such force it couldn't be pulled out. It was definitely a force to be reckoned with...
In this video, I was actually on the stock rearsets! They're very capable and feel great, even with just the balls of my feet hanging on. I did eventually upgrade them, though. (Video on channel!)
Thank you! I got the diffuser on eBay, and the insert is an OEM BMW M part from an F10 M5. I actually have a video dedicated to the diffuser on my channel - check it out, it has all the information you'll need for it there!
great video, thanks for making it , I Just ordered one of these for my 2024 mustang gt, I opted for the Alcantara material. Hopefully everything goes well.
Thank you! I'm glad you did. You'll really enjoy it, I think. Mine has been fantastic for the past few months. Nothing but compliments. If I had any alcantara in my car, I'd've gone for that, too.
You can just install the lights without the flasher, SOMETIMES. The new US models already have the Euro LED flasher. If you don't believe me, look up the parts fiche and see the part number. Not sure what the cut-off year is for that, but my 2023 390 adventure has the 9051103000 flasher already.
No, I did not! I didn't have the active shutter grills, though. Mine were the simple static plastic ones. I've heard people say that removing the active shutters can throw a CEL, but since I don't have any experience with that, I can't say that may or may not happen.
I've seen people say KTM recommend many different oils... It could be due to market area, or something similar, but it seems to differ between person to person whom I speak with over this matter. It's strange, but I'm sure KTM knows what they're doing. I don't think you have to do exactly what I did and use what I did.
@@MotoRevs After I poured in the semi-synthetic oil as recommended in the manufacturer's manual, which was visibly very thick-Motorex Formula 4T SAE 15W/50 MA2-4L for 53 Euros, I noticed that gear shifting became more difficult. I'm not sure if it's a coincidence, but a couple of times, the gear even slipped out on its own while I was in 5th gear at high RPMs.
@MotoRevs I know this is an older video but I was wondering if when you ordered the KN-1217 it came with the bracket with the clips so it could be installed. I've been looking for the KN-1217 myself, having read countless retailer descriptions and even speaking with support team members, and have been told it is just the filter in the box. Several comments/reviews have said they did not receive the bracket with the clips so it could not be installed in their 390 Duke/Adventure. Your insights would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance and for the straightforward video walkthrough. Cheers.
dude wtf were u thinking on turn 4 u overpassed the guy on the blue, that was super dangerous, also when the chicken crossed the road you did nothing to stop it! wtf why would u do that? also good riding
I'm not sure... I know the 330i has the B48, which I believe they have tunes for; however, I'm not sure about the 330e. I'd check out their website and see what they offer, and if you have any further questions, I'd definitely call or email them. They should be able to help you out!
I actually am not sure - it's my dad's, and he keeps his insurance private. It also depends on where you live, the color of the car, and the age and gender of the driver. So, you should probably see if you can just get a rough quote from your insurance company to see what they say.
I want to add an additional detail which isnt very clear on MHD website - you need to purchase a FLASH LICENSE AND MAPS PACK, to go above stock flash. If you want Stage 1 and above, you need to purchase the $311 Flasher License AND the $122 Maps Pack for N55. These are seperate products. To reach Stage 1 you need to pay out $435+. I was not aware that the Flasher license includes Zero stages above stock. Now I have the Maps pack and everything works fine.
It took me about 7-8 hours. This is only due to the fact that you have to work from underneath the car and from on top as well. It's a very in-depth, tedious process, and you must be rather skilled and knowledgeable. It's a hard install, but it's totally worth it. Tight spaces and removal of auxiliary parts is necessary sometimes. But I'd say it's worth it! At the end of the day when you're driving around and you feel and hear the difference, you forget you even installed it.
I can't say for sure, but as I've heard you don't need a tune, but you won't get the most out of your modifications without one. You'll also likely have a check engine light from the downpipe (assuming you go catless or similar). The best thing to do would be to get a tune, so you can take advantage of your mods and get the most power out of them, and remove any lights or codes your car may throw due to your mods.
Depends on what you want and have. You could buy individual stages, or, like I have, you could get the super license, with every stage, every option, and every feature. Granted, it is the most expensive, but you get what you pay for. Every single feature and option, and you can fine-tune it to your car and mods. That's what I'd recommend, especially if you plan on continuing to mod your car. If you buy one single stage, you don't get the multi-map, or all the options and features. If you mod your car more, or remove some mods, you may not be able to edit it to suit your car. H9wever, to get you up and running, and get rid of your CEL for your downpipe, id recommend looking into a stage 1 tuje. If your car has the required aupporting mods, maybe even stage 2 or stage 2+ That's just my 2 cents!
For the relay or for the lights? I have part numbers for various parts in the description, but if those don't work, let me know and I'll try updating them!
@@MotoRevs I’ve never replaced any drain bolt in any car and have had no problems not saying it’s better but I’m trying to figure out if that’s just recommended because my bikes manual dosent mention replacing it just cleaning it
I love this so much, I want to put it on my 535i f10 but i live in California and it when it rains it rains a lot. Will the rain affect this mod? please lmk! edit: do you need a tune for this? or just plug and play?
No! Rain will not affect this, as per Dan from BimmerHaus, and no, you don't necessarily need a tune, but, of course, to get the most out of it and take advantage of it, a tune would definitely be beneficial; but not necessary.
