How is it?

Joshua D Amazing, can’t tell it’s a retrofit. Steering controls, original mic, iDrive integration and Siri integration is spot on. The one key beauty of it is that if Apple release any Carplay updates then it is automatically reflected on screen the next time you connect. In the couple of months I’ve had it, I’ve had 1 connectivity issue where I had to re-pair my phone, other than that then it’s been flawless! Customer service from Kush is second to none also, was more than happy to take about 10 phone calls in one day from me during the install haha. Top guy with great after-sales support. Can’t recommend the system and Kush any more!

No as your phone isn’t connected to your bmw head unit but Mimi box. You make and take calls through CarPlay.
