I plan to get my 316i tuned as well. ECU shop claims +60 hp.(136+60 = 196 hp) and they also claim that speed limitor will be automatically removed by stg1 tune. Is it true?
Yes it is possible. If you have in your country i prefer Superchips. With just stage 1 chip tune your horse power will be 236bhp. Mine is now around 250hp. But this is for the 1.6lt engine not for the new 1.5lt.
Hello... I am quite new at this... I have a 316i F30 as well. What happens to the original performance... is the performance of the chip always on? or can you choose to turn it on/off? just wondering about fuel efficiency.If for example i wish to switch back at ECO PRO, will the car be always FURIOUS? What happens to the settings at COMFORT, SPORT and the above mentioned ECO PRO?Thanks for your comments in advance.Greetings from Austria.
Hello there. Fuel economy will be same or may be better because of more torque. In eco pro mode it will be the same but a little bit powerfull unless you push the throttle %100. You will enjoy of your car much more. Its like a 328i now.
