BMW F750GS review, underestimated as a GS? 6,000 miles ownership and counting

Here is my 6,000 miles review on my BMW F750GS TE having owned it now for nearly 18 months, if you are wondering why the miles are low, all bikes in Jersey and the Channel Islands are low as we live on islands and it is expensive to get away more than twice a year, with ferries costing a lot to get our bikes to the mainland or to europe, I use my bike nearly every day so over here those are good miles on a island 9 by 5 and 48 miles around.

Well done a fantastic video thank you I have got a GS 750 I will have a look at doing some of the same things on my GS ⭐️👏👏👏

IMO, the F750 (I had one but sold it due to a serious illness) is one of the most underrated "do-it-all" motorcycles out there. The last thing I was going to do mine, was get a front fork spring kit, which I feel would have made it nigh perfect!?! Anyway, "for me" based on what is out there today in the middle-weight marketplace, next year (when winter passes here in the North West USA), I'll seriously be looking at the new F-800. Enjoy your 750!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

great review!.....agree on the suspension, i had the Hyperpro suspension lowering kit installed on my 750GS and it made a huge difference.

Same color as my 2022 bike, I am fine with front suspension, Stock tires after 1 year, I am a Roadie, not into the mud roads at all. upgraded windshield and metal side bags, but also a top bag mostly, take off side bags unless needed. going to change my brake fluid next week myself. dealers ridiculous labor rates here in USA AZ

I had pivot pegs put on my 750 and highway pegs. No way I can slip off those pivot pegs. Loads of confidence standing.

I have small feet size 8, so not an issue or not noticed a issue yet, on road and off, I have looked at other pegs, but I've now covered over 6000 miles and not noticed a problem

DN I see you removed your comment, no I am not overly worried about falling on that side of the bike with the auxiliary tank, the spare fuel is there for when I get to the campsite or destination, I can then remove it and store it while I go and enjoy the off-roading, I have fallen on that side with it on, and no damage, remember that these are slow drops, not really classified as a crash to be fair, I am barely travelling at 30mph off-road, the tank is well made and not cheap flimsy plastic, yes there is a risk, a small risk which I am happy to take, when I travel I am well prepared and take a small fire-extinguisher with me. Can't worry about the what ifs.... get out there and enjoy the adventures!

Thanks! Also, brilliant video. There are not that many videos on youtube about F750GS from real owners, and customization.

@DN not much else I can do customising this bike, she is pretty much there now. But is beautiful to ride and well balanced even with luggage on, did Land's End to John O Groats last year and over 2.5k miles in 7 days, an absolute joy to ride

Hello there! From where you got those spoke wheels? Do you have the tyre pressure sensor installed on your bike?
@BeanieBiker_AutisticRider
@BeanieBiker_AutisticRider Год назад
VMX KKE-Racing, you will need the nut and valve from the 850gs to install the TPMS all works as it should and no issues

The spoked wheels are the go. How do you find the front shocks off road?
@BeanieBiker_AutisticRider
@BeanieBiker_AutisticRider 3 месяца назад
Handles well, no more heavy diving on the front, a good feel on the back when standing on the pegs and leaning forward, the upgrade on the front forks is definitely worth the £100

@zoltszolts5632 test rode the Tuareg, it's a nice alternative but is more top heavy than the 750gs, test ride them back to back, you'll have an idea then to which you prefer
@droflivelife
@droflivelife 3 месяца назад
@BeanieBiker_AutisticRider wow more top heavy. I thought the 750 was bad enough. 20kg different I thought would be more like my 390 ADV. I found the 900 rally pro feels low weight

@marcclothier605 yes, the bike is off roaded a lot, I can categorically tell you that, if I still had the caste wheels on the bike, they would be bent of cracked with the abuse I have given this bike over the last 3 years
