Got my 2018 6mt M3 from tenafly. Great experience. After negotiating over the phone, I walked in met the salesman, signed the papers and was out in a mere 45 minutes. After 5700 miles from new, the car still puts a smile on my face every time I drive it.
Great review Glenn.....I bought the exact same car in February to replace my totaled and beloved e46 330ci. Silverstone II exterior, Sakhir Orange Merino leather and a 6 speed manual. So far it has been a ton of car for the money and I mean a ton! Grocery getter, long haul soccer trips with the kids machine (4 doors a big plus), luxury cruiser on date night with the wife, and an absolute savagely fast back road beast. Good point on purchasing the car CPO. A 1200 mile break in rear differential flush is required and AFAIK, they wont sell it via CPO without the documented break in service history. Doubling my hp from 225 is a huge jump for me. In fact, to experience the cars full potential I'm signing up for tracking it.
Nice looking M3...always like silver exteriors on BMWs. However...did not see the vehicle on BMW of Tenafly's website...you video must have sold it already Glenn!
Good timing. I have been researching F80 since I started looking seriously at 1M and M2. I have kids so obviously 4 doors is convenient. I like smaller cars for weekend, autox so will stick with a smaller car. I have a work provided daily. Have you done a 996 Turbo review?
No, but I have driven 996 Turbo's many times but no reviews on the channel, yet. I do have a review of a rear drive 996. It was a blast to drive. For autox I would want a rear drive. Seats are small in the 996 Turbo unless your kids are toddlers.
@@GlennsCarCollection thanks for the reply I do prefer RWD to AWD for autox which I do monthly. Track twice a year. Hoping a friends sells me his 1M. If not M2 6spd or keep enjoying my Integra Type R.
Cool bmw...m3...@nd a manual...nice...bmw of tenafly has a very nice variety of cars to choose from. Sounds like certified preowned is a smart play as compared to private owners or ebay
Great question, thanks for subscribing to my channel. I think manual F80's will be worth more than DCT but I don't think we will see the dramatic differences in prices like the E46 and E90. The SMG wasn't very good so the manual E46's command a big premium. DCT has been getting better and better so the manuals will be worth more but not the big gap you see in the E46 M3's. When BMW drops manuals all together, the last M3's available with manuals will surely go up in value.
@@GlennsCarCollection The normal sales version is the automatic transmission model. If there is a need for the manual stop version M3 to book the car, the M4 does not need to book the car. There is only a manual transmission model. The M3 manual transmission model needs to order the car. The used car now needs more than 50. 10,000 yuan new car needs about 1 million yuan including insurance together
