I stumbled upon this video, it’s now September of 2023 ! I’m going to share my ‘opinion’ here and say that I think……. Aesthetically, this is the best looking ‘Mid sized Adventure bike’ ever made. It’s quite tragic that it is shown here being ridden with No bash plate !! the exhaust pipes are sooooo vulnerable !! Despite this omission I find it hilarious and a bit tragic that BMW ‘evolved’ this platform into the ‘Ugly duckling’ the current 2023 model is today. Granted, the new 850 GS now has an updated 270 degree crank, which virtually eradicates any ‘Twin vibrations’ of this former 360 degree crank layout. Aesthetics aside…….this BMW 800 ‘hit it out of the park’ by using an ‘under seat’ gas tank, which keeps the fuel load rearward and centralised to the bike. Although they have kept this feature on the current 850 GS model and exaggerated it on the ‘Adventure GS’ model, I think they have ‘thrown the baby out with the bath water’ design wise.
I like this video, its a good video, good quality and exciting made .. informative without senseless blabla ... it shows all it needs, and many thanks that there is the sound of the motorcycle - and not only music. :-)
Nice one! I thought I was the only one crazy enough to take the Metzeler off-road. (I did that on muddier conditions, nearly got myself mired in the middle of nowhere) I wonder how you managed to get smooth filming on the bike camera mount, I get a lot of vibrations at eery acceleration
In France they don't mind very much about lights. Here in Italy I always see french cars (tourists maybe) with lights off even after sunset or into the tunnels. Every country has its faults...
Rubbish bike no front suspension adjustments to bouncy don't but one thier the worst bike BMW Ever made I know because I was draft enough to buy one couldn't wait to get rid of it buy a KTM Adventure if you want a proper bike
