Also I'd like to recommend putting on a 15 tooth front sprocket. It's a pretty easy install and no need to change the chain. It makes a lot of difference off road yet capable at higher speeds.
thanks for the compliment. that's great. I love mine too. I was surprised at how much! I have a playlist with around 30 videos on the baby g. make sure you check the out
thanks for the feedback and watching the videos. please check out the others and subscribe. you will love he motorcycle. it's been so much fun. best motorcycle I've owned and I have had 6
Studded pedals & studded brake pedal riser, Barkbusters, Zumo xt, Atlas throttle lock, Puig windshield w/deflector on top, Airhawk R seat cushion, rear trunk, tank bag, grip puppies. I will need crash bars and an Easy Pass next year. Just had the water pump replaced a few days ago. Diagnosed at the 600 mile oil change ten days ago. Has just under 1400 miles.
nice additions. I have heard about the water pump having issues. it's the second one I heard failed. how do you like the cushion? thanks for watching, please consider subscribing.
Somebody has been farkling! I have most of the same upgrades on my G310GS. I was going to get the full set of crash bars but opted for the Givi engine protection bars to save some weight. If I scratch the fairings, I'll fill, sand and paint them with matte black Krylon Fusion rattle can. I got the same windshield but in clear. It helps a lot on longer 60+ MPH road trips and it doesn't hinder me much on mild off road. I got an inexpensive air mesh seat cover on Amazon and it's very nice, summer and winter. I bet it's made on the same Chinese manufacturing line as the name brand version. I got the anodized aluminum foot peg expanders but my next upgrade will be the MK4 Pivot Pegz. I delayed that purchase because I didn't want to spend $200 on foot pegs but I need much larger pegs when standing off road or when giving my butt a rest as I ride through small towns when riding major secondary roads. I've been waiting to wear out the original Metzeler tires before getting more off road oriented tires. I'm almost there. I'll install some Shinko 804/805 tires and hopefully they'll still be OK when cornering on the street. They gotta be better than the full knobbies I had on previous dual sport bikes.
I will say this the Metzler tires are way more stable on the freeway than the adventurecrosses that I have now. stable meaning they feel more planted in a straight line, as far as cornering they are amazing. they wiggle a little when hitting transitions on bridges, but recover quickly. I have a 1000 miles on them. I love them in the dirt compared to the metzlers. I honestly haven't thought about the pegs. I guess I am used to them, but I do want to upgrade more stuff soon!
Few things to go. 15 tooth counter-shaft sprocket. ($16) This is a 'must do'. 30mm Bar risers ($30) or 'Adventure' bars ($100). Raises bars to be comfortable. Doubletake Mirrors. (These will probably save your bar mounts when you crash). ($140)
yes those are things that I am looking into. also just ordered a gps bracket, Garmin zumo and headlight guard. thanks for the info and watching the video. on the sprocket do you lose top speed and gain lower torque?
Most of these are on my list to get. Can't keep mine out of the shop long enough to upgrade anything. Water pump and seal out at 800 miles. Better keep a check on that coolant level as BMW has not fixed the quality issue that apparently is due to a poor engine case casting. Just bought mine new in June and somehow managed to put 800 miles on it.
Do you have links for any of these? I have the OEM lower engine guard, but I want the upper one as well. And I need the kickstand extender. I have a headlight guard, radiator guard, and a side stand sensor guard on the way already. I have the OEM hand guards and skid plate. We'll see how long those last. I don't do technical riding at this point....just dirt and gravel roads.
here is the crash bars, the kickstand extender I got from Ali Express, but the have them on Amazon as well, you will need to replace the skid plate if you do decide to do some technical stuff, but it should be sufficient for light off road. https%3A%2F%2Fwww.amazon.com%2FWorldmotop-Highway-Engine-Replacement-G310GS%2Fdp%2FB09NHR8R3P%2Fref%3Dmp_s_a_1_1_sspa%3Fcrid%3D251LILX4F9QT4%26keywords%3Dbmw%2Bg310gs%26qid%3D1696301246%26sprefix%3Dbmw%2Bg31%252Ca
It's yours a 2023? Mine is a 2021 and I bought the same, (I think) radiator guard but I couldn't fit mine properly because of that engine thingie above it. Did you have to move it disassembly anything to fit it in place?
hi, here is the link https%3A%2F%2Fwww.amazon.com%2FWorldmotop-Highway-Engine-Replacement-G310GS%2Fdp%2FB09NHR8R3P%2Fref%3Dmp_s_a_1_1_sspa%3Fcrid%3D251LILX4F9QT4%26keywords%3Dbmw%2Bg310gs%26qid%3D1696301246%26sprefix%3Dbmw%2Bg31%252Caps%252C733%26sr%3D8-1-spons%26ufe%3Dapp_do%253Aamzn1.fos.f5122f16-c3e8-4386-bf32-63e904010ad0%26sp_csd%3Dd2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9waG9uZV9zZWFyY2hfYXRm%26psc%3D1&stzid=Ugyr6OnsLmW-8LN1q354AaABAg.9vONLeFwyMP9vOQ54ZyxXm

@@Sasqmoto Thank you! Do you think they gonna fit with stock levers? And what about locking position? Do they interfere with the windshield or is it safe and sound to lock the motorcycle?
Hi they do bump the windshield but it does not get in the way. I can still lock it and I have stock levers. the only thing that needed to be modified was getting longer bolts for the handle bar weights. with the extra thickness the stock bolts were too short
My biggest concern with this bike is that it's too pretty to drop. I'd spend the extra $200 for the Rally and then cry if I scuffed up the paint. Meanwhile, the RE:H would probably look better with a couple of battle scars on it.
I have dropped it about 6 times give or take and I have little scratches on the exhaust and upper crash bars. I would suggest that anyove getting the bike, make sure you get the upper and bottom crash bars. just the lower ones only will get your paint scratched, thanks for watching!
@@Sasqmoto Absolutely! If I end up buying this bike, I'm going to get the exact same upgrades that you did. Incredibly helpful content. Much obliged, Sir.
thank you. I know of 5 people so far that have purchased the motorcycle because of some of the content. I appreciate the feedback and if you have any questions that I don't answer in the videos, send me a message sasqmoto@gmail.com.
