A made in india bike is costlier than its made in india competition in india. On the other hand its cheaper outside of india than the other bike i just mentioned above in places like US.. Rightly so because one is clearly better than the other. Owning a brand is one thing and compromising for showing off in public is another. But sadly thats where indian youth has been excelling off late. But, great review man and keep up the good work.

Not only the exhaust is shared with rr 310..engine,swingarm,suspension system,tyres and alloys,electricals,disk brakes and abs system ,even the switches are of same

Primarily a touring machine? I don’t know about that. Maybe a nice town cruiser for a beginner, and probably a nice bike for that purpose. I’d own one just for fun, but not for anything other than putting around town and just fun factor.

How well the bike competes with its closest rival the TVS Apache RR 310? Please make a detailed comparo video of these two machines.

eveything is perfect and I also acknowledge that It is BMW but it is too overpriced. we can have duke 390 at 2.5 l and 2.4 l for rr 310 and himalayan for only 1.9. and it is 4.5 . really !

Older CBR250R, Ninja 300 or even the newer R3 has proven to be one of the best in class vehicles but BMW is yet to prove in this 300cc segment. I have seen this bike, the build quality is good, I agree. But what about cost? Just paying 1 lakh rupees extra for the BMW Badge? Think twice, this week I am gonna take a test ride of this bike, let's see.

G310 pitch meeting: Does the G310R have a modern, convenient TFT dash? -No. Does it have DRLS? -No. Does it have futuristic, radiant LED lights!? -No. Does it have a slipper clutch? -No. Is it multi-cylindered, like real, legacy BMWs? -No. Okay, but then, being made in India, it must be well-priced, say, at least within 30,000 INR of another well-built European competitor, say, a Duke 390, which has almost all of the above listed features, and is much faster. -Scheisse! Nein, zis is BeEmWe. We are superior! Wow, I'm sold!

For me the exhaust does not gel with overall design of the bike. Also considering 3.5 lakh price ...with no slipper clutch, and single cylinder naked with vibes.. I can easily go for ninja 300.
