This is my first International Bike ride, we travelled from India to Bhutan during this ride.
You need to pay a Daily SDF fee (1200 per day) along with bike permit (4500 per day) as well as a Guide & a back up vehicle to accompany you throughout your stay in Bhutan.

Below is my itinerary:
Day 1: Delhi to Gorakhpur, 850 kms / 19 hours
Day 2: Gorakhpur to Forbesganj (bihar), 480 kms / 11 hours
Day 3: Forbesganj to Siliguri to Phuentsholing (India-Bhutan Border), 300 kms / 9 hours
Day 4: Phuentsholing to Paro, 150 kms / 6 hours
Day 5: Trek to Tigers Nest, Paro
Day 6: Paro to Chele La (highest motorrable road) to Ha to Thimphu, 180 kms / 6 hours
Day 7: Thimphu to Punakha to Thimphu, 180 kms (full day with local sightseeing)
Day 8: Exploring Thimphu City
Day 9: Thimphu to Gangtok, 380 kms / 11 hours
Day 10: Gangtok to Nathu La to Gangtok, 120 kms / 6 hours
Day 10: Gangtok to Siliguri, 190 kms / 6 hours
Day 11: Back to home
