Great bike. I have a 2015, brought second hand in 2015, milage only 1,200, paid 14k bargain, that's a lot of bike for the money. Never by new, been to Europe on it 2 up fantastic, there's not another engine like it super smoooooth.👍😊

These bikes are bullet proof...so no need to buy a new one. Plenty of used ones out there with less than 50,000 miles on the clock for less than £7k.

Love my K, get on better two's up than the GSA as it's much finer to control on tight hairpins and lower CofG. The bike is so nimble as you say and the sound of the harmonic exhausts up tight wall lined streets are beautiful to the ears. Bit if a beast to push around the garage but what do you expect. The engine is soooooo smooth. Well done, nice Team DLM let you ride one. 👍

Thanks Wayno, I was trying to take photos on this small quiet road and the postman wanted to come past, I sure was struggling to man handle it whist holding my camera that's for sure. Best to just ride it everywhere :)

@D.S.R. you do get used to handling big bikes, but they'll always catch you out if you don't have a good footing whether in the garage or slow manoeuvring. 👍

@D.S.R. second hand prices are more realistic especially as most newish bikes on the market have low miles.

Never tried any bike with a screen that actually (as stick) works well. Had a Gen6 Goldwing a couple of years ago and even that wasn’t brilliant. For smooth air you cannot beat a naked bike BUT of course that has all the other disadvantages we know about. Choose your compromise.

I agree. Wind turbulence is something manufacturers really seem to struggle with. I was on the 1000sx yesterday and that was really bad for wind noise. 🤦🏻

good review i have a 2015 and it can be hustled. i will say in a 1/2 gear road it’s weight shows after 6 years which is three times as long as i have kept any bike, i’m trading for a new multistrada

I have been looking for a new bike, mostly at the bmw bikes, but the more i read about them in the bmw groups the more im getting put off. The reliability issues, quality and service from most dealerships seems to have dropped considerably over the years, the amount of corrosion issues on engine casings and frames, recalls and general s/-tty attitudes and yet still demand a premium price...Once upon a time you bought a bmw car/bike you were getting a quality product along with a quality service

I know there are some dealers and manufacturers that struggle with quality control and customer service. I’m yet to need either from bmw so I can’t yet speak first hand. Always do your research and buy where you most feel comfortable. Ride safe.

Hope all goes well, with the new adventure, Thank you for serving this country in the military, I've family in the military but some higher ranking officers with crap ideas is causing lots of friction, its know becoming a joke and difficult to do the job they have put their heart into, it's not going to be long before they sign off if things don't change,,

Sweet. My buddy has a new Goldwing and is always trying to convince me to get something like this. Did I miss the reveal for what you got to replace the KTM? I have been waiting on that one but haven’t been following everything due to work etc.?

Depends what you want from a bike, I personally wouldn't buy this bike, but each to their own. I wouldn't mind trying the goldwing, sadly my local Honda dealer doesn't have one on demo fleet.

Ive only ridden my bike back from the dealer but I'm loving having a bike that works as expected. Just need the weather to get better now.

awesome bike no doubt about it but very little can afford this amount for a bike, plus knowing it has the tech to have sat nav on the screen but they decide not to do this for other models is annoying

Dick Lovett have the ‘Bagger’ Version in their showroom, now that looks a little more like it for me, footboards, different style fairing and some swept back handle bars. Looks even better IMO.
