You got the FANTASTIC SOUND part right. I'm a Ferrari lover when it comes to engine sound. I love flat plane crank v8's with noisy valvetrains. But this one got me. I've never heard a straight six do that. Goddamn.

i had the fortunate oppurtunity to re-cage 2 of the m1 bm's to 2014 fia spec,both owned by the same person (jealous i was) the 1st was wrecked chasing a 911 down the mulsane straigtht going way over 8500 rpm.the 2nd was a show car,both totally mindblowing.an iconic car.shame they only built 400,,,,it would sell even in this economic climate.

This shows that you don't always have to have 8 cylinders to have a great sounding engine. I think F1 have failed pathetically with the V6 turbo cause that's some boring s**t :D I encourage ppl to check out the Triple Eight developed GM V6 bi-turbo for Australian Supercars (Holden). They shelved the project but they already had some runs in it and my god it sounded awesome!
