It's been a few weeks of nursing the car.
First I was running in the tires and brakes, then replacing the bumper, then waiting for the bumper to be completed with paint protection film (PPF), then fixing steering wheel wobble, then fixing check engine light due to O2 sensor heater fail. Sheesh.
Wobble wasn't happening under braking, if it was then the wobble would be related to the brakes and the surface coating that needs 100-200km to wear off. The wobble was happening at acceleration (or sometimes at steady speeds).
But now it's all done, and the time has come to enjoy my car (I hope). Performance tests to come.
Fault Code: P0036; BMW Code: 12B304 Oxygen-sensor heater after catalytic converter, activation: open circuit
Replacement Part Shown: Oxygen (O2) sensor Part Number 11788611294
Thank you as always Simon at SCI Tech!!!!
Thank you also Marios for the wheel re-balancing!

7:27 smart scientific approach.

The next video will be quite scientific... But it won't be about the M140i... No spoilers. 🤣🤣

Whereabouts in Cyprus are you? I'm on the Turkish side about 23 k's west of Kyrenia. I'm a Brit ex-pat have lived here since 2009.

I'm also running with cold start delete option for dozens of thousands km. 138K km mileage currently. Don't think this can affect O2 sensor. What's your car milage?

Noted! My car has low mileage.

I have problem with the lambda sensor after catalytic, can this make on cold start some engine shaking? once the engine warms up it no longer shakes

So rear sensor is used to calibrate front sensor? That is bad news, i bought the car with a "sport downpipe 200 cels and some sport exhaust, person who installed this put a spacer(microcat) on the rear sensor so the check light would not come on.

Yeah, I wouldn't mess with the sensors as the engines are very finely controlled. I mean I would only mess with sensors if I was an expert and knew how to adjust the ECU software accordingly.

Have you had the new brakes coded?
@NoBrainerTalk

Yes, forgot to mention that in the video, the brake kit needs DSC recoding and is the reason I performed the mod at the BMW dealer.

@@NoBrainerTalk interesting about the lack of braking performance. I changed pads to Ferodo DS2500, installed HEL braided brake lines and replaced fluid with Castrol SRF fluid and the brakes feel amazing. More bite, better pedal feel and stopping power has increased substantially.

@@OliIsLazy I wouldn't say "lack of braking performance" but I don't notice a much more aggressive braking response with daily driving, and maybe that is intentional from BMW. I'll get back to you when I push the car with performance tests. Did the brakes feel slightly "spongy" before? Yes I would say so, and they are sharper now. But it's not a night and day change, not at all, it's a more incremental change. I think the main goal of these brakes is to last longer on track before they overheat rather than a dramatic increase in braking power. So laps 3 onwards stock brakes will be gone, but these brakes will keep on going. They do look amazing though, they make the car look proper fast. BTW, your setup is very good, the Ferodo DS2500 are a very good upgrade for sure.

@@NoBrainerTalk I also noticed that it does take a good few days for the new brakes to "bed in". Hopefully you have noticed this too. I imagine your BBK with better pads, lines and fluid will be much better again. It's a slippery slope with mods... as I'm sure you're aware.
