ive been waitinnggg for some more E28 content, im currently trying to restore my dads old Euro 1983 528i and these videos are helping a lot!

Honestly, I was just expecting a bit of soapy water, some cleaning solutions, and a brush and hose. WOW, did you get into it!! That makes me want to go and do the same for my A4 and Q7, like right now! A clean engine is a happy engine - and that was a great show of maintenance/upkeep and deep clean at the same time. Thanks!

If people gripe about not having content delivered every week, then that’s their problem, maybe the should try to even do the projects you do without recording video. They likely have no idea how hard it is to both work a project like this AND record it in a comprehensive manner. “Good stuff Maynard!” You and Ronald Finger always deliver great videos, and because I have to wait a while for one to pop up, it makes me so happy to see it. So don’t worry about apologizing for taking time to upload something, because it is always awesome when you do. Let’s hear the before and after of that idle air control valve when it comes in. That will be cool, too. Also, only because I’m so partial to the MK1 Golf, take her to a Car & Coffee kind of thing and show her in the mix. That might help you over the 100k subs. You could also try some collab with Ratarossa, if the UK isn’t too far a trek for you. Cheers mate!

Prachtige episode en lekker lang ! Het resultaat is verbluffend zo schoon ziet deze motor er weer uit. Het werkt voor later wel fijn om met zo,n schone motor bezig te zijn en je ziet natuurlijk veel gemakkelijker mocht er ergens een lek zijn. Ik verbaas me telkens weer hoe gemakkelijk je ,vaak voor mij althans , technische hoogstandjes uitvoerd en net zo gemakkelijk alles uit elkaar haalt en weer net zo relaxt in elkaar monteert ! Je weer dat ik een echte leek ben op het gebied van auto,s en toch kijk ik met ontzettend veel voldoening naar je video,s ! Ben ook erg benieuwd naar je volgende project...Wat een mooie Citroëns stonden er in die garage, heb jaren lang tot volle tevredenheid CX gereden en kijk stiekem naar weer zo,n mooi exemplaar, fijn dat je dit hebt meegenomen in deze video ! Nou nu maar braaf geduld oefenen voor de volgende episode en je mag weten, ik kijk er reikhalzend naar uit !

Beautiful job, completely worth the work

I replaced my intake manifold on my M20b20 today too, I have an early E30 with the same engine and I've been having idle issues too. Took me almost a year to find another additional air slide valve which ended up costing me a whole engine to get. I tried everything to unblock it and the best thing I did was put it in the oven a few times at a high temperature and then let it sit. The inside blockage turned to powder and I was able to knock it out. Great video really enjoyed watching it even though I've done the same thing to my car lol 🤘
