@@Broke-Mediatorn between this and the Supra still, LOL, but I can get these a few years old w low miles for $35k vs $55k for a supra… but coming back to this video helps me make the right decision!
@@AstroZombie1 definitely a hard decision bro. I think the M240i is worth it 1000% but if you have the money and really want to be more flashy and don’t need the rear seats, then go for the Supra 🤷🏻♂️
@@jonnypicasso9296 for a coupe the space isn’t bad actually, most people fit in the back with no complaints and the trunk space isn’t all that bad either but if you’re really worried about space just get a 3 series or 4 series tbh
@@Broke-MediaI’m really in a debate between the m340i and m440i, I test drove the 4 series n loved it also love the front end a lot. But I don’t know if I wanna be 4000 pounds
glad this is basically the top comment. this motor is up there with the S54 for sound, but this fake ass burble tune sounds like dogshit (i’m a bitter, envious N54 owner)
This looks very quick. I'm running 470WHP 680NM on my RWD M240i stage 2 with 99 octane. Only mods are ITG panel filter, modified cold air intake from BMW Hot Climate kit, VRSF catless downpipe and custom remap.
@@j.f.4765 could be a dyno that reads higher! Many factors as to why he’s getting that number but it’s not far off from what I’ve seen stage 2+ e40 putting down
So stage 2 is around 410whp on pump gas, and around 430-440whp on e30. Stage 2+ is about 420whp pump gas but up to 470-480whp on e40 so it’s definitely worth it if you have e85 in your area💯
HKG makes crappy gas engines. My first car was a Kia and it blew up a couple months ago. Suffice it to say I will never buy another HKG product after my experience.
Iv actually heard the b58 is better then the 2jz with is makes me want one, the facts that they compared this engine an said it might be better is enough for me😌
@@Broke-Media I’m being pressed for time, as the lease company want a reply asap, there’s so many options there’s the cars I mentioned, older m3/4 as the new ones are a lil pricey 😅 and so on! This M135i was my first performance car lavish inside but I got used to the power after the first year, and it sounded vacuumy, I wanted 3.0 straight 6 power next for sure 😅
There basically isn’t one💀 like there is under some secret menu you can access while it’s parked but it’s a pain getting to so it’s useless it’s pretty annoying tbh
Thank you! Octane is rated a little differently here in the US because 93 is our premium and I assume it’s equivalent to what you have as 98, and my gas tank says minimum of 91
Yes it’s catless! There are no emissions where I live so I don’t have to worry about passing but you can either get a catted downpipe or just swap it out every 2 years for when you do needa pass
@@KennyChuiOfficial yeah bro fr, the state I lived in previously I had to worry about that and it sucked. Sometimes a catted downpipe will pass emissions, or some states only do it every 2 years so you can put it on right after you pass and not worry about it for 2 years
@@Broke-Media damn they pretty loud for stock, you gotta be catless then rigjt to get that snap like pop, I’ve got mine on hard at .9 seconds but I’ve only got a dual res delete when I get my downpipe I’ll put them on medium or soft
@@Broke-Media ohh okay yea that makes sense, I came from a 2015 Subaru wrx so this being stock feels fast as shit as is but I’m thinking about going stage 1 soon, shouod I go stage 1 enjoy that for a bit then go stage 2 or is it better just going right to stage 2 off the bat, I just don’t didn’t want to go right to stage 2 cause then after a year I’ll wanna go faster and only way would be turbo upgrading witch I didn’t plan on doing for like 2 years 😂 also do you have a instagram account for the car bro?
@@f22_b58 I’m the exact same way bro so I went stage 1 and then stage 2 when I wanted a little more power so I recommend doing that if you’re planning on keeping your car for a couple years to have stuff to look forward to💯 and yessir it’s @timski.f22 hmu if you ever got questions or anything!
@@Broke-MediaI’m currently running a run pump, dp, and 93 fuel on my 440i. How do you calculate the amount of e85 you need, and can you mix e85 with 93 octane?
@@Adonis8989 yes you can! Most people mix it with 91 or 93. I just use an online e85 calculator (www.morepowertuning.com/emix) and enter in my desired mix and it tells you how much to put in of 93 and then how much e85 according to your tank size. I’ll make a video soon as well because it’s important to test the e85 % at your pump to get an accurate mix, super easy tho
@@Broke-Media cuz i'm considering buying 335i automatic zf trany but i tried 420d automatic and its having some lag when you put on peddal shifting its amm like hammering bad shifting you feel evry shift...
@@notsmaister7526 oh dang that’s super weird, I believe the zf transmissions in the 335 and 40’s are a little different so I don’t think you’ll have to worry about that but worse case you can buy a transmission tune to help
Another driving simulator all modern cars are shit yer before you say anything take the porrshe gt2 996. Manual a drivers car not like this crap today m140i all unstable gt2 would do all of it point made
