If anyone wonders why Finland produces som many world class rally drivers... just look here. This is how they school their young drivers..... This must be most entertaining rally serie in the world... never mind the speed, the entertaining value is so much higher than the WRC with their high tech 4W-drive cars.
This is Finnish group F for cars wich original classification is outdated. If I remember correct group F founded back in the days when mk2 Escort run out of it's classification. Cause of that in Finland many drivers had good and fun rally car but they couldn't enter rallies cause oudated classification. So they founded new group F where all those cars were accepted.
What engine is he running? In the front it sounds like a BMW Inline 6...classic sound...but at the rear... holy crap.. like a mixture of an rotary and 2JZ....love that! Maybe it is a normal BMW Inline 6...I would like to see the exhaust work. I want that sound to on my M50...
The driver (Ilmo) asked for smoother torque build up for better grip (broader power distribution) and driveablility. That's why they went to the shorter stroke.
