I'm not sure, a good friend of mine just picked up a 2011 M3 sedan (used) just a few weeks ago but I haven't seen it much, but it doesn't seem all too different from the car in the video.

The Lime Rock is just a standard M3 with the performance accessories. The GTS and the CRT are the actual different breeds of the E9X M3s

Well... not to burst your bubble but it's really easy to get on track at Lime Rock. I've been on it and it's incredible but you shouldn't say that it's a struggle to get on track or anything like that.

Hey tomtom. The color is an "individual" color. BMW charges like 6k for special colors. The exhaust is another 4k. Plus all the carbon crap lol steering wheel and better interior... It's an easy 10k package upgrade... I guess I'm an ass lol cause I own one... I've worked for BMW for over 20 years and having 1 of 200 of these bad ass cars is pretty cool!!!!

I saw some of these for sale before the lime rock edition came out.. just with the Fire orange color.. made me want one... i have heard some awful comments on the color... and to tell you the truth it's a LOUD color... but it's diffrent than what you see everyday and because of that if i could afford one i'd have one. to me it would be worth it to have someone say" i have not seen this color before" so does this mean that a regular M3 can be ordered with color? but not lime rock?

Where did you see TwinTurbo. The current 2013 M3 (and this car) is NA V8. The rest is right. Rumors are the next M3 will be I6 twin turbo.

It's not all that different from the stock M3. Stock M3 has everything but the color, and some extra carbon fiber body bits (the stock M3 has the carbon fiber roof) and I believe those are custom wheels that you cannot get on a stock M3. Oh and a limited edition badge. What else is a heavy modified from the regular 2013 M3?

I want one so bad! But here in norway a new bmw 320d/i is even more expensive than this car is in other countries, so i'll probably never own one.. :(

I have a buddy who bought a Porsche for the same reason in a color that you never see... under the hood it's a porsche but the color is one that you dont see all the time.. i think he was told it's the only one in california... dunno how that was found out- but that is what he told me.

I'm not trying to break your balls man, I really just don't see the value in having a "limited production" car that really isn't very different than a standard M3. Every single item they added doesn't make the car any faster or special than a regular M3. The 4K exhaust is cool but does it really make any difference, sadly no. This car is the ultimate marketing gimmick plain and simple, name a car after a racetrack, paint it different and put some accessories on it and add 10k.
