Ya know what dude...I watch a crap ton of car videos, reviews etc as a car enthusiast. Did so in the lead up to a recent 2024 F-type R Coupe purchase (loved your f-type and merc vid btw), but just generally I consume all things cars. You are a refreshingly genuine dude, and your videos and presentations just feel absolutely effortless. I suspect that you are just being yourself, and that's what I'm picking up on. I just wanted to tell you that. I rarely, if ever, compliment RU-vidrs. I genuinely think you will be a raging success as you continue to invest in your channel. All the best. Keep on keeping on. Love your approach and vibe. It truly is standout from a lot of them who, frankly, appear to be trying too hard. Dude, i have a M4 competition Xdrive. But you cant compare that to a 911 turbo... ! m4 is way, bigger heavyer and slower. Compare the trunk space od a 911 and a m4 :D

I'd say the ZF 8 speed with an XHP tune dials up the rowdiness of the upshifts by a lot. About the same level as the DCT in F80 generation.

so I have the opposite opinion of the screens. 2024's giant curved screen completely removes the sports car dash design, (you know kind of like a Turbo s doesn't have a tesla sized screen either). You also loose all the climate control buttons. to me that screen perfectly fits in a 4 door m3 ( hence why 23's have the curved screen i8). But they also just slapped it in the m2 and m4. Those two models should have sports car dashes, so design screens for that format of dash. bottom line. not a sedan or SUV dash.

I’m gonna have to disagree on the aftermarket front bumper. I don’t think it’s an improvement over the factory and at 3.5K 😬. But maybe this is me getting used to the frontend especially after getting my G80 🤭.

I've always liked the new M3 and M4 grill it makes it look like a SKULL.. like BMW is the boogeyman of cars, which they are, I think the grill is very complimenting and sinister

G82 looks so good. So annoying to hear the whining by some about the front end. Coupe comp X drives hold much better value than convertible

G83 M4 owner here. Not a fan of the color combo of the test car. Not at all actually. Mine is Dravit Gray and looks much better IMHO. Is it a great car for the price, absolutely. Is it a 911 Turbo killer………no. In fact Hell No. However Ill take my M4 Comp over a Carrera, or even a Carrera S, especially when you consider M4 Comp Convertible is $15-$20k less than a Carrera Cabriolet, and $25-$35k less than a Carrera S Cabriolet.

This is not a 911 turbo competitor. If you have the funds, there is not a single person out there that would pick this over Porsche 911 Turbo

Not even close to the same performance as a 911 Turbo. Maybe compared to a 911 S or 4S but no way I'm taking this over a Porsche. Not even close the same in feel and performance.

Torque is limited in 1 and 2 gears, that's why it seems to push once in 3rd

Performance wise I’d say it’s comparable to the 911 Carrera S. Not exactly have the price but a good 30-40% lower.

Miles! Wish you had reviewed the newest infotainment G83 and also dropped the top! Tough mostly negative review, I daily my’24 G83, intake, exhaust, lowered in 3x black…dude I love mine🤙🏾

What other car/platform can you upgrade downpipes, drop in air filters, & custom tune and have a 9.7 1/4 mile all season all weather highly practical new daily driver for less than $100k all in that offers this level of performance versatility(Drag, Roll, Street, Track, Prep, No Prep), performance ceiling(1400WHP low 8's for fully built), performance gains with basic mods(200WHP & 200lbs added from 2 mods & tuning)? Sure you can option the Carbon Bucket seats, carbon exterior, & Carbon Ceramic Brakes, but if you dont select those options, you can M3/M4 CXD for about $92k with a few options selected. Downpipes, BMC drop in air filters, & custom tune will run about $5k-$6k. Thats a 720WHP & 700lbs high performance daily driver that still gets good fuel economy(30mpg+ using your daily 93 octane map), great reliability, materials, build quality, interior for less than $100k. Such an incredible value, even for those who do option the car out to $100k-$115k. BMW hit a home run when they designed the S58, and a grand slam when they paired it with their RWD biased XDrive AWD system. The car still feels and handles like a RWD car in many ways, since its RWD biased(unlike many Audi & AMG models), and if you want a little RWD fun its as simple as pushing a buttom to activate RWD only mode. When all variables are weighed there isnt much that compares to a G80/G82CXD, Highly Recommend if you are considering a new performance car. I promise you wont have a micro second of buyers remorse, and youll never stop getting excited to drive it down the road, in fact, its the kind of car where youll make excuses just to go down the road. This is my first BMW, but everything my G80CXD offers has turned me into a massive supporter of the brand, and Ive never been one whos been a brand loyalist, as I grew up on a classic car dealership surrounded by muscle cars. So I learned to appreciate many brands & platforms. I love my G80CXD so much I just ordered a new fully optioned G82CXD to fully build out as a first-in-class drag & show car. These platforms are just on a different level(Real World Cost, performance ceiling, performance versatility, performance gains with basic mods, after market support, materials, build quality, interior, technology, drive-adaptability, practicality, reliability, fuel economy, all season + all weather, useable space, etc). Are there cars with a higher drag ceiling or track ceiling, sure, but you wont find another platform that does it all as well as these do for the cost new. Even if you dont want to modify it, a new fully optioned G82CXD(Approx $115k) is hitting 10.7 in the 1/4(In the street) with just lightweight rims, good tires, & XHP. If you are comparing a few models to decide, find one to test drive before you make a decision. I test drove almost every single performance car in the $60k-$220k range in the summer of 2022 when I was in the market for a new car. When I weighed all the variables, nothing really matched up against these XDrive S58's, and my experiences with dealing with BMW has been nothing but first class.

i think this grill looks best on the M4s, i don't even consider the 1 and 2 series as a bmw, but that is just me, from the perspective of a 2001 e39 530i owner. a car should look like a car

Definitely not a 911 Turbo killer or competitor. I owned am M4 Comp and now a 992 Turbo S and the comparison isnt even close.

At start the M4 looked super ugly to me but it later grew on me and i like it now, Can't say the same thing will happen to me with the new M2, it kinda looks like if GTA made a remake of the old m2 for their car models like how they do with other cars lol

1:40… that’s the last thing I’d add to the car. With no ability to lift the nose you will scrape on every single speed bump and steep incline you ever encounter.

I don’t like that green and brown interior but when it is in the rain. It looks absolutely amazing in some shots.
