Thought these woofers only worked well in a front loaded design? I'm in the market for a shallow mount but dismissed these because of the statement about front loading on the arc site.
@@ARCAudioTv In the rear of a JL wrangler. I'll be re-molding the panels on either side of the rear storage area (driver side sub facing passenger side and vice versa) & an enclosure built into the rear gate, facing forward. So 3 subs total, neither of which would be front loading. I have thought about placing plexi over the face of the woofers, almost as a solid front grill. not sure how that'd pan out though
The signal was taken post factory amplifier. This allows for the original logic 7 system to be retained per the owner's request. She wanted to be able to switch between a single person/competition setup (turning off the logic 7) to a whole car experience with the logic 7 system. Pulling the signal post-amplifier was the only way to achieve both.
