jap ich versteh was du meinst, das Gefühl hatte ich auch, hatte letztens den neuen M6 über Wochenende. das ist aber nicht das DKG das langsam ist, sondern der Turbomotor. ;) geh zu manhart, die haben nen M5 F10 gebaut, mit v10 und dkg, die perfekte Mischung ;) ich hab in meinem M3 auch das DKG, auf Landstraßen vermiss ich schon ein 3. Pedal. aber auf der Rennstrecke bin ich ganz froh beide Hände am Lenkrad behalten zu können ;)
Its more efficient, powerful, confortable... its faster... but for bmw and car enthusiasts everywhere there is one very important thing... the noise... and it doesnt have it...
+joaquin sierralta an exhaust upgrade can fix the sound somewhat, but with the turbos in the way it will never sound like a high revving naturally aspirated motor
Hi Lopp3n, I notice you have gotten confused by a comment made by Turbocharger9212. Older BMW M5 models came with a V10 engine. Turbocharger9212 has watched the video and it seems he has does not like the V8 as much as the older V10. That is why he has said "V10 for ever". I hope that cleared things up.
Not the same thing. Any real car enthusiast will agree. Nothing like going on a road trip with a manual box. The DSG box is great for getting times on the score board, but that's it. It's not as fun as an old fashioned manual box.
this car has 610 nm the old bmw f10 had only 530 nm the fact that there are two fewer cylinders under the hood is compensated with two turbochargers.this car is just horrific cool and fast.
Lol.. yeah but when u compare the price difference, the Merc is expected to be quicker.. if it was slower than it would be quite shocking for a car which costs waaaaaaaay more than an M6 to lose. Besides, the SL65 Black is a highly tuned beeeeaaaaaaaaaaasssssssstttttt with a V12 Engine! Both great cars (SL65 & M6) But gotta love the V10 outta that M6!

The M division spend a lot of time effort and money on developing the exhaust systems for their M cars yet people think putting louder exhausts with larger tail pipes is going to improve the highly tuned M engine. Designing and producing an original M exhaust is a science and it's better having an M designed exhaust on an M car rather than some aftermarket fart can.
Als ich den neuen M5 Probe gefahren bin hatte ich immer das Gefühl dass das Dkg zu langsam reagiert... Anders bei dem M3 hatte ich immerzu das Gefühl dass das DKG schneller ist (die zeit vom auslösen der paddel bis zum schalten)... Dennoch am liebsten fahr ich den 1M Handschalter :-)
Ein wahres Wort, hab ich garnicht bedacht. Tja schade nur, dass Benzin immer teuerer wird und man nun nicht mehr nach der Divise geht "viel hilft viel" sonder nun langsam in die Trickkiste greifen muss (z.B. BMW Triturbo, usw). Ich persönlich mag auch am liebsten V8-Gebrabbel, aber das wird vielleicht nicht mehr realisierbar sein :(
also der wagen ist geil, und der besitzer hat nix falsch gemacht, aber der SOUND ist absolut flach und lasch, der alte M5 v 10 sound ist meiner meinung besser :) aber darüber lässt sich je bekanntlich streiten :) oder wenn einen v8 dann muss man sich nen AMG gönnen, der hat den meisterlichen sound, obwohl ich BMW fan bin :)
Not even close to a manual. My last BMW was a manual, and my new BMW is an automatic tiptronic. Yes you can select what gear you want, but only to a certain degree. It's still gonna shift up and down etc, even if you have told it to be in a specific gear. And you still don't have a clutch pedal
der e 60 hat keine doppelkupplung....der hat ein automatisiertes Schaltgetriebe mit einzelkupplung, also smg, folglich mit zugkraftunterbrechung ;) nur der e92 m3 hatte dkg. der neue m5 f10 hat schon die ganz neue dkg generation :) aber ich bin ganz bei dir....mir gefällt der alte v10 auch besser :)

Von der optik her ist das der 2. schönste BMW aller Zeiten (1. ist e92). Aber ich finde die hätten da einen V8 alá AMG reinbauen können. Sicherlich argumentieren die M-Leute mit Downsizing und weniger Verbrauch, aber ganz ehrlich, wer sich generell so ein Auto kauft, der achtet nicht unbedingt auf den Verbrauch.
