Have you driven the newest M5 Competition? Crazy fast, crazy handling, loud. I daily a 500+hp manual 135 and I still give the new m5 comp mad respect for its performance.
Clearly you have never owned one then. Having owned 2 x e60 m5s pre lci and lci they were both money pits not just on maintenance but general fuel and oil usage. Went to a f10 m5 comp and miles and day better in every department. Faster, a lot more comfortable, much better gearbox and can even get 30mpg if driven sensibly. Never got over 12mpg on either of my e60s😂
The current M5 cs is arguably the best bmw ever made. It will go down in history as one of the greatest engineered cars ever built. A family sedan V8 that can keep up an aventador svj with only 1/4 of the cost!??? Truly amazing
EG 45 EG 45 No - the S85 V10/S65 V8 was designed by BMW’s M division, with all the knowledge gained from racing in F1 with Sauber. So yes, while it is “inspired” by F1, it is not, and will never be, an “F1” engine. The road going car shares no parts with the racing engine, due to obvious reasons. Don’t be silly.
After buying my First car which was E90, i started to fall in love with style and modern look of E60, 1 year later i bought my 2nd car, 530d... i was amazed driving the beauty home, i MUST say big difference from 3 series over to 5 obv right. Best car ever made E60 hands down, and the car doesn't even age at all which is crazy to me!! God bless Chris Bangel for the design of the unique car.
@@GK-iw3hi dude he rebuild the whole engine from 5.0 to 5.8 litres how is there supposed to be damage already that oil gets burned in such an amount, please dude be quiet. its cold outside and thats why it smokes, its the most common thing especially when the car does not get driven a lot
M models are raw power, too bad I have not been able to afford one yet. I had a 330 E46 and then a 325 e90. Even those were amazing to drive. Might I add that I then went with the Audi A4 3.2 Quattro and I have to say that that car is crazy fun and fast.

Two big engine mistakes 1 starting and not bringing up to full operating temperature before shutting off. 2 Revving it up and immediately shutting it off. Combine the two is really bad for an engine. Not letting it come up to temp causes condensation in the cylinders and rev and shut off washes the cylinders of lubricant.
leftfordead not only enthusiasts, unfortunately for the e63 still doesn’t look as good as the e60, this design is just timeless and with time gets better and better. When I was kid I hated the look, now I prefer an e60 to an e39😅
