Dean, Great vid but exercise caution with that billet cap... I've been involved in similar product development many years ago and that was abandoned due to the Aluminium cap welding itself to the Aluminium oil filter housing on installation. If that protective black finish manages to wear off the threaded area in future and it does lock up on the oil filter housing - you will not get that cap off and it will for sure scrap the oil filter housing. You could ask the company for any product development history with minimum number of installations before lockup or try it yourself on a scrap oil filter housing. From my experiance Al to Al threaded interfaces need to be handled very carefully. Good Luck.
Thanks 🙏 yeah this is my first time using it, you know me I have a different brand oil for every different car 😂 but I only use the best on them all. I will stick with liqui moly now for this one.
Wait 5k km and listen again top end noise ;) liqui molly 5w30 for n52 is shit ... I tryed castrol, liqui , shell, bmw, motul and ravenol .. the best from my experience is motul
Sorry I have 145K subs that will disagree with that ! MOTUL is what I use in my R1 and my S1000RR not on my car. For N52 5W40 is the best oil you can use, and many have switched and all there issues are gone. Oil on N52 should be changed every 5000 miles without fail and “THAT” is how you stop your ticking. I never ever had ticking again on my N52 and neither has the many.
@@BMWDoctor who said i have ticking noise ? No ticking in the last 4 years and 100k km :) for me , liqui was shit , in warm weather it gets very thin , and after 5k km with liqui in high rpm the engine sounds more loud , like it has not good lubrication :) with motul , engine sounds allways the same , no problem the oil has 10k km or its new
MOTUL is for race bikes only ! I only advise anyone to use that in race bikes for a reason, it’s not designed for cars and I can tell you 5W30 is Not good for N52 that is the whole reason your having issues ! Change to 5w40 shell and watch the difference like many.
@@BMWDoctor same with my 130i I bought it off jayemm on cars. N52b30a currently at 163k first 80k was standard interval the has been enthusiast owned ever since and 5 to 10k changes. Now with me it gets 3k to 5k with a liqimoly flush each time. My oil consumption was around 1litre to 2.5km with fairly hard driving. After my first flush and change (using 5w30 both times) I added wynns oil supercharge and 2.5k in no oil consumption yet not a single drop. I’d recommend you giving it a test to make sure it’s not a fluke 😂. Great content I watched a lot of your n52. Videos before I bought the car and it’s a beautiful example with a few subtle tasteful modifications.
Hi Doctor .... i have a 2014 F20 M135i if i use Liqui Moly Molygen would it be ok and can i also use CERATEC engine Additive to protect the engine ... Thanks
Dean, Great videos.. I have a 2017 BMW F33 with no power to radio and Ac/heat control All the fuses are fine Where should I look for root cause? Thanks
Bless bro 👊🏻 we still on for all the plans bro, and just to let you know it’s going ahead now bro. We’re ready 🙏🙏 I cannot wait bro you know what’s going down. Also what day we meeting bro to go out ?
To all viewers, perhaps if your old BMW does not have an oil pressure sender & gauge pls go ahead and fit them on. IMO low oil pressure switch is not very helpful if you intend to keep your old BMW as long as possible. 🤣
