Great video. My car is saying fuel supply. Full drive performance not available then car dies and wint run for maybe an hour. I changed the low pressure fuel pump about a month ago. Everything was fine now same issue is back. Any idea of what it could be? Thank's
Your problem is 100% the fuel control module located in the trunk under the carpet. Once it heats up it will stop working hence no fuel delivery. When the vehicle is cold it will run perfectly only when it warms up after about an hour. Common issue, the control module takes 5 minutes to replace but it needs to be coded to the vehicle.
I constantly got rail pressure: fixed errors so I changed the hpfp w my friend and the car was fine but not even a week later it started doing the same shit and the only thing I can think of is the hpfp again since everything else in the fuel system works fine, I even changed the injectors. 600 down the drain now I gotta buy another one
Hi I have a 2012 BMW X5 xdrive35i. I replaced my throttle body and my HPFP. The car throwing fault code P15DF. I also have the Engine alert: Engine malfunction reduced power Chassis stabilization malfunction DBC malfunction drive carefully. Thank you or your subscribers for any advice…
I have a 13 IM 535i BMW, start the car let it out for about 30 minutes and it falls dead and won’t restart until about 15 minutes later like something has to cool off to start. Could it possibly be the fuel pump ? I replaced the fuel pressure sensor and it’s doing the same thing 😢
@@gilgonzalez5902 Two years ago I paid almost $800 for this pump, which is now over $1K. The $300 pump you are referring to is the newer style smaller unit.
I used a remanufactured original from fcp. I know it's tempting to get aftermarkets from ebay\amazon given the price difference, but after reading some reviews on how long those units last and the fact that I can't just change it on the side of the road, I decided to pay the price.
LPFP ran a little longer the first time the car was on and built up pressure in the system. I also missed one of the connectors to the ECU, so it ended up being primed while trying to start. But no running issues afterwards.
@@mckazok do you have any recommendations on what i should do? should i re track everything and take it apart part by part to see if everything’s correct. i don’t have the right tool to prime the pump so idk what to do
I had a rough running issue right after replacing 100k old spark plugs with a new set. The only thing that resolved the issue was clearing adaptations.
I had 3 symptoms. 1-engine would take around 3 seconds to start 2-if i drive after first start, it's would run in low power mode, limp?, unless I stop and restart engine. It would also log low rail pressure error. 3-after a hard pull, it would go into limp again.
@@mckazok Ok my symptoms are different. I have air mass low issue (code 102002) and drivetrain malfunction code 120308 when pulling hard. The Drivetrain malfunction come systematically, and the code is related to low boost. I wonder whether the 2 code are related, low mass air flow and low boost.
@@mckazok yesterday I replaced my intake manifold gasket, DME gasket and also throttle body gasket and also cleaned my intake valves. I immediately felt that the car is more responsive, more powerful, but I didn't pulled it hard yet to check if low boost error will come
The low boos error came again. Now am thinking about MAP sensor on the intake pipe. The reading was not stable last time I connected ISTA D. There were deviation with ambiant pressure (2,7 hPA). It is within tolerance (+ - 25 hPA) but it was toggling
